New offer for start-ups and small businesses from offerta.de
Karlsruhe – Shopping and experiencing in the Karlsruhe exhibition halls for nine days – that’s what offerta from the 30th October to the 7th November 2021. In December 2020, the shopping and experience fair also expanded to the digital world: at offerta.de, visitors will find an expanded range of products and services all year round with over 180 online exhibitors. Now online meets offline: with the new pop-up lounge, visitors to the Karlsruhe exhibition halls will also discover the online products to touch for the first time. It was a real concern for us to offer our online exhibitors an opportunity to present themselves at the live event offerta and thus above all to support startups and non-profit associations, says Melanie Seger, offerta project manager. The Pop Up Lounge in the Lifestyle hall as well as in the Markthalle consists of three exhibition stands, which are played differently within the nine days of the fair. Small businesses in particular are happy to be part of offerta for two or more days, continues the offerta project manager.
Food sharing: Every household can be sustainable
Foodsharing e.V. is one of the pop-up exhibitors at offerta 2021 and has set itself the goal of combating the disposable culture of food and other resources in society. The association saves food from private households, businesses, supermarkets, food stalls, restaurants and also from canteens. “I find it really exciting to be part of this year’s offerta, as people’s interest in food sharing offers is growing,” says Roberto Elia, company manager at Foodsharing e.V. We want to show visitors authentically and from the point of view of a food saver how optimal use of food can be designed.

Karlsruhe women combine Australian love and sustainable jewelry

Unethical, unsustainable products and unfair prices are a no-go for the two sisters Carolin and Larissa Behrend from near Karlsruhe. With their label Walkabout, they want to contribute to making the jewelry industry a little better and convey the Australian attitude to life to jewelry lovers fairly and sustainably with necklaces, bracelets & Co. “We work with recycled 925 sterling silver and gold, our jewelry is durable and we process our material waste so sustainably that the environment does not have to suffer,” says Carolin Behrend. We are super grateful to present ourselves at the offerta Pop Up Lounge, as it is a unique opportunity for all offerta online broadcasters to present yourself and your brand at one of the largest trade fairs in the region and finally get back into contact with the people.

In order to offer a platform to regional exhibitors and nationwide retailers, such as online shops, Messe Karlsruhe launched the online platform offerta.de in 2020. Now the online platform is also moving into the Karlsruhe exhibition halls with an offerta.de stand. In the Halle Freizeit (Hall 1), visitors get to know the online offer and the products. Finally offerta again: From the 30th October to the 7th November, the shopping and adventure fair opens its doors in the Karlsruhe exhibition halls. Also in 2021, offerta is dedicated to the four topics of leisure, construction, lifestyle and market hall. Visitors will find regional and supraregional leisure activities, practical kitchen aids, expert advice for the next DIY project as well as treats from the region and all over the world at around 450 exhibitors. The beer garden in the atrium, the bicycle course and the offerta motor world in the outdoor area complete the trade fair experience.
