Back to the future! – under this guiding principle, INTERNORGA 2022 returns as a face-to-face event. The organizers used the corona-related forced break to position the Hamburg industry meeting even more successfully in the future with all its events and formats. A portfolio of proven exhibition areas, current trend topics, a varied supporting program and a newly created hall structure, makes the leading international trade fair for the entire out-of-home market from the 18th to 22nd March again at the mandatory date for the entire industry. National and international exhibitors will present new products, trends and visionary concepts over five days. The revised hall structure contributes to putting the trade fair experience even more into focus and at the same time enables the long-awaited, personal exchange and networking vis-à-vis. INTERNORGA is carried out under the 2G regulation on the basis of an individually developed hygiene concept, so that all participants are able to visit the fair safely and successfully in Hamburg.
The pandemic and the many months of lockdown have shown how important personal exchange and the desire for a platform is to meet in person, discover new things and simply be inspired and inspired. This is exactly what we offer all trade visitors and exhibitors. Especially the modern hall planning ensures a coordinated trade fair experience that is unparalleled. We are pleased that the time of standstill is now over and that the entire hospitality industry is finally meeting again in our Hamburg exhibition halls, says Claudia Johannsen, Business Unit Manager at Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH.
Safety first: 2G rule at INTERNORGA
The safety of visitors and exhibitors is the top priority for INTERNORGA. The fair will therefore take place under 2G access rules: “In the interests of our customers and partners, we are interested in a rapid return to the most normal possible conditions. For example, catering and tasting on the stands are possible without restrictions, the mask requirement is waived. We will therefore only give vaccinated or recovered persons access to INTERNORGA, says Bernd Aufderheide, Chairman of the Management Board of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH. The results of a previously conducted survey underline the fact that the 2G regulation is also favored by the exhibitors already registered: “The resulate was clearly 72 percent approval for 2G. We then discussed intensively together with our exhibitor advisory board and partners and finally decided on the currently safest variant,” Bernd Aufderheide continues.
For visitors and exhibitors, the 2G regulation has other advantages, among other things:
- The distance requirement is completely omitted throughout the exhibition center.
- The mask requirement is lifted.
- The operation of gastronomy as well as the delivery of tastings is possible without restriction at the exhibition stands.
- No minimum distances between the tables are required at the exhibition stands and the number of people per table is not restricted.
- The number of participants in the halls does not have to be limited.
New hall structure offers more space to discover and for novelties
Long closure phases due to the pandemic, disruptive concepts and global food trends have changed the industry and demand dynamic market competitors more than ever. Against this background, the strategic redesign of the halls, which is comprehensive by INTERNORGA, will be experienced for the first time in March 2022.
