【DE】The Bazaar Berlin is back!

International sales fair for handicrafts, design, natural goods and fair trade products – Bazaar Berlin from 3rd to 7th November 2021 at the Berlin exhibition center – advance sale of the online tickets starts on the 20th. September 2021

Whether extraordinary jewelry from Mexico, warm winter sweaters made of precious yak wool from Mongolia, unique furniture and wooden accessories from Morocco, Turkey and Indonesia, handmade pashmina scarves and scarves from India or unusual Christmas decorations – at Bazaar Berlin, everything revolves around handicrafts, design, natural goods and fair trade products again in 2021. From 3rd to 7th November, the international sales fair for beautiful and sustainable things from all over the world finally opens its doors again. At Bazaar Berlin, what belongs together comes together: sustainable ideas, regional and international creativity, passion and enthusiasm for the unique, for the special. At the bazaar under the Berlin radio tower, visitors get something that cannot be bought everywhere, explains Esther Piehl, project manager of the Bazaar Berlin.

The Bazaar Berlin is our colorful and special department store under the radio tower. Here you will find extraordinary gifts from all over the world with their unique stories. And so we are particularly pleased to finally do what we do best again in November at the Bazaar Berlin: namely to be a host – for our exhibitors, partners and visitors from all over the world, the Republic, Brandenburg and of course for Berliners, says Karel Heijs, Business Unit Manager Life Sciences at Messe Berlin.

After a pandemic-related break last year, the Bazaar Berlin is finally back in November 2021: 220 exhibitors from 29 countries are expected in Halls 18, 20 and Palais am Funkturm. Our visitors can look forward to a diverse and extensive offer again this year. If you are looking for the special Christmas gift for loved ones or for yourself, you will surely find it here with us, assures Esther Piehl. The safety and health of our visitors and exhibitors is a top priority. Due to continued travel restrictions, it is unfortunately not yet possible for all exhibitors and partners from overseas, Asia and Africa to be here in Berlin, says Esther Piehl.

Ticket presale starts online

Tickets for the Bazaar Berlin are now available in the online shop at www.bazaar-berlin.de/de/besuchen/tickets/. The day ticket costs 7 euros (locally: 9.50 euros). When purchasing the ticket in the online shop, pre-registration takes place for a specific day of visit.

By far the safest bazaar in Berlin

The safety and health of all exhibitors, partners and visitors is a top priority. Based on the current Berlin SARS-CoV-2 Infection Protection Ordinance and the coordination with the responsible health office, Messe Berlin has developed an extensive hygiene and safety concept. This concept, which is implemented accordingly for the Bazaar Berlin, is based on the principles: hygiene, distance, ventilation and contact tracking. In concrete terms, this means that the tickets for Bazaar Berlin 2021 are personal. Prerequisite for participation is compliance with the 3G rule: Visitors must prove that they have been vaccinated, recovered or tested negative within the last 24 hours before the visit. Detailed information about the hygiene and safety concept as well as the access requirements can be read online under this link.

About the BAZAAR BERLIN

From 3rd to 7th November 2021, the Bazaar Berlin will take place for the 59th times at the Berlin exhibition center. This year, the Bazaar Berlin will take place on a slightly smaller scale due to pandemics. In 2019, around 500 exhibitors from over 60 countries presented high-quality handicrafts, local specialties, individual fashion, jewelry, accessories, eco- and fair trade products, natural goods and much more at the traditional sales fair in the five theme worlds World Market, Fair & Social, Natural Living, Art & Style as well as Winter at Home.

The combination of good business with social commitment is an important concern of the Bazaar Berlin. Since the fair started as a development policy event under the name “Partner of Progress” in 1962, it has regularly supported and promoted programs for ethically correct, fair traded and sustainable production of goods.
