THIS EVENT, WHICH IS USUALLY HELD IN JUNE, HAS BEEN HELD IN 2021 WITH THE AIM OF CONTRIBUTING TO THE REACTIVATION OF COMPANIES AND RESUME BOTH A NECESSARY INTERACTION BETWEEN SUPPLY AND DEMAND AND LEISURE SAFELY
AFTER ITS CANCELLATION LAST YEAR, IT IS A TRANSITION APPOINTMENT TO BECOME AGAIN IN 2022 IN THE LARGEST MULTISECTORAL EVENT OF EXHIBITIONS AND LEISURE OF THE NORTHWEST PENINSULAR

 

Silleda, August 18, 2021.- The International Fair Abanca Green Week of Galicia these days finalize its special edition 2021, which will take place from 3 to 5 September.

Although this emblematic event usually takes place in the month of June, on this occasion it moved its dates due to the health situation derived from COVID-19, thus being able to maintain its celebration this year with the aim of contributing to the reactivation of companies and resuming both the necessary interaction between supply and demand and leisure safely. In addition, this event is a transitional edition to recover in 2022, already in its usual dates, its status as the largest multisectoral event of exhibitions and leisure of the peninsular northwest.

In view of this edition, which lasts three days instead of four, the fair is immersed in the organization of its exhibition area and that of its parallel contests, the Atlantic Food Hall (Salimat Abanca); the Tourist Hall of Galicia (Turexpo Galicia); the Fair of Festivals of Tourist Interest (Festur) and the Fair of Hunting, Fishing and Nature (Fecap). Likewise, the program of activities of this edition is being designed, in which again both novelties and consolidated proposals will be included in the contest.

 

A safe fair

The 43rd International Fair Abanca Green Week of Galicia pretede, adapting to the current circumstances, combine business and entertainment, so that exhibitors can monetize their presence and the public enjoy the day, but always prioritizing their safety. Thus, the organization has developed a COVID-19 contingency plan that has been presented to the Xeral Directorate of Public Health of the Xunta de Galicia and on which some details are being closed for its next approval.

It establishes measures prior to the celebration of the fair and access both to the site and to each of the differentiated areas of the same during the development of the event, in addition to specific measures for the exhibition area and its stands, for the different activities included in the program and for the services and restaurants.
