Since the end of June, the trade fair industry has been successfully holding trade fairs in Germany again.
With their resolution on August 10, the federal and state governments made it clear that trade fairs can continue to take place in Germany if the 3G rules (vaccinated, recovered, tested) are complied with. The Association of the German Exhibition Industry AUMA welcomes this clear signal, which thus contributes to the planning security of exhibition organizers, exhibitors and service providers.
Since the end of June, the trade fair industry has been successfully holding trade fairs in Germany again. The trade fair industry has comprehensive hygiene concepts that have been continuously developed since the beginning of the corona pandemic. The concepts have been coordinated and approved by the authorities. Last autumn, the trade fair organizers demonstrated with their strong organizational and implementation skills and their modern infrastructure that they can implement all hygiene measures to protect against infection. Together with the 3G rule, this provides a very good holistic set of instruments to safely enable participation in trade fairs.
It is now the task of the federal states to create the appropriate legal framework so that trade fairs are permitted nationwide regardless of incidence values. This is especially true against the background that the federal and state governments will use further indicators to assess the infection rate in the future.
