Anuga’s largest trade fair focuses on trends such as gourmet foods, superfoods and halal
When it comes to the quality of the products, Anuga Fine Food, as the most important platform for delicatessen manufacturers, importers and their customers from the food trade and gastronomy, is a central point of contact. The largest of the Anuga trade fairs combines a comprehensive and varied range from all over the world. Numerous nations take part with joint stands that present typical foods and regional specialties from their homeland.
A total of 420 exhibitors from 59 countries will present their variety of products and innovations in halls 1, 2.1, 3.1, 10.2 and 11 at Anuga this year. Cross-sectional topics such as halal, superfoods and gourmet foods also find their place in Anuga Fine Food. The “Anuga Halal Market” special show at Anuga 2021 will once again take place there. It offers a wide range of halal-certified products for the food retail trade, which includes all trade fairs. The current food trend towards gourmet food & specialty food, which is primarily characterized by quality and transparency, is also reflected at the largest trade fair at Anuga. Accordingly, many manufacturers are promoting transparency around their ingredients. In addition to the taste and quality of the product, this should also emphasize the efforts for uniqueness, sustainability and locally or regionally produced food and beverages.
