The registration phase for the next Interpack fair in 2023 has been set to start in the German autumn of this year.
However, due to the cancellation of Interpack 2020 due to the pandemic – which was initially postponed to the spring of 2021 and then canceled – exhibitors who had already registered were given the opportunity to rebook for the fair.
Along with new applications from other companies, exhibitor bookings received by mid-August 2021 already represent 85% of the available space.
Interpack will be held from 4 to 10 May 2023 at the convention center in Düsseldorf, Germany.
“We are excited about the response from our customers. We keep hearing that they can’t wait for Interpack to finally happen in person again,” says Thomas Dohse, Project Director at Interpack.
According to industry feedback, Dohse says that the pandemic showed that alternative digital events were seen as a differential that added value, but the face-to-face meeting at a fair is irreplaceable in terms of generating new contacts.
“In addition, many companies demonstrate technically complex machinery and systems at Interpack, which need detailed explanation and are often evaluated by potential customers during their operation at the fair,” he adds.
Customers also benefit from the opportunity to directly compare solutions from different vendors.
For 2023, Interpack also aims to be the leading international fair for the packaging sector and related processing industry and is emphasizing this with the new brand slogan “Simply Unique”.
“Interpack’s uniqueness is mainly characterized by the incomparable diversity of products and services that our exhibitors offer, but it is complemented by our special themes that follow the trends for the coming years”, he explains.
In 2023, sustainability in all its aspects will be even more significant than in previous years at the fair. For this, Messe Düsseldorf will count on the cooperation of several partners for a broad and comprehensive content.
