Registration deadline on the 15th September 2021 – Innovation awards for design and development services in agricultural technology – New: DLG Agrifuture Concept Winner
(DLG). As part of the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural technology, the DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft) awards three different awards for innovative engineering as organizer. In doing so, it acknowledges the outstanding importance of agricultural technology for the design of sustainable agriculture. Until the 15th September 2021 exhibitors have the opportunity not only to submit systems and components as well as finished machines and products for practical use, but also visions and concepts as well as pioneering agricultural work within the framework of the new innovation award “DLG Agrifuture Concepts”.
Innovation Award Agritechnica
The DLG novelties award “Innovation Award Agritechnica” is one of the leading awards in the international agricultural industry. It honors innovations for practical use and underlines the importance of modern agricultural technology for agriculture. All companies that are exhibitors at Agritechnica can participate in the DLG Novelty Award with their innovations. After intensive information and discussion, a neutral DLG commission decides which products receive the “Innovation Award Agritechnica” in gold or silver.
SYSTEMS & COMPONENTS Trophy – Engineers’ Choice
In 2022, the DLG awards the “Systems & Components Trophy – Engineers’ Choice” for components and systems for the second mail. It thus acknowledges the high importance and innovative strength of the supplier industry for agricultural technology. The winners will be selected by a jury consisting of development engineers from the agricultural machinery manufacturers exhibiting at Agritechnica. From all registrations, the jury determines a shortlist on the basis of which the winners will be selected.
NEW: DLG Agrifuture Concept Winners
Within the framework of Agritechnica, the DLG selects “DLG Agrifuture Concepts” for pioneering agricultural work and visions of the future for the first time. Visionary agricultural solutions provide decisive impulses for the sustainability of plant production worldwide. Engineers all over the world are working on technical solutions for the future of agriculture. Not all ideas and concepts make it to a finished product. Technical or legal framework conditions often limit the development to market maturity. Many of these concepts nevertheless have the potential to release inspiration and encourage farmers and engineering colleagues to think again. This award underlines the relevance of this pioneering agricultural work for the future of agriculture in five to ten years.
