The first face-to-face trade fairs 2021 in Leipzig: CADEAUX, MIDORA and Floriga autumnal
In autumn 2020, they were the first trade fairs under pandemic conditions – now they mark another milestone: The first face-to-face fairs 2021 in Leipzig will take place from 4th to 6th September CADEAUX and MIDORA at the start, accompanied by the Floriga autumnal on the 5th September. A total of 450 exhibitors and brands have registered for the three events. This puts us above the results of 2020 and above our expectations, says project director Andreas Zachlod. In addition, more large brands are represented again, which significantly improves the quality of the exhibition. And new companies have also registered that are looking for a marketplace in the region.
Practical, trendy and decorative products for the autumn/winter season can be found at the trade fair for gift and living trends CADEAUX Leipzig. Around 250 exhibitors and brands show their new collections, for example, on home accessories, floristry accessories, handicrafts, culinary products or paper goods. Once again, Erzgebirge folk art organizes its world’s largest presentation and also invites you to the special show “Music for the Eyes” – an exposure for “musical” wood art from angel orchestra to music box to rock band. Also for the winners and nominees of the 27. Design competition “Tradition and Form” offers the Forum Erzgebirge a stage.
Graphs and live demonstrations around the floral Advent decoration characterize the “trend village” of CADEAUX. Show floristry can also be experienced on trade fair Sunday at the Floriga autumnal, which was postponed from spring to autumn 2021 due to pandemic. At the trade fair for the green industry, around 100 exhibitors and brands will show floristic decoration, horticultural accessories, ornamental plants and seeds. Partners of Floriga autumnal are the Fördergesellschaft Gartenbau Sachsen mbH and the Fachverband Deutscher Floristen e.V.
Third in the Confederation submitted from 4th to 6th September the watch and jewelry fair MIDORA their shiny offer. Around 100 exhibitors and brands – from the established company to the newcomer – present real and trendy jewelry, watches, pearls and stones, goldsmith supplies as well as fashion jewelry and accessories. Supported by the Central Association for Watches, Jewelry and Timing Technology, trade visitors can also expect an interesting specialist program. For example, the President of the Central Association, Albert Fischer, talks on the topics of “Certification as the key to success” and “Training 2021: Funding at a glance”. Jewels on the subject of “incision” can be experienced in the special show “Young Cellinis 2021”, a Germany-wide competition for prospective gold and silversmiths.
The hygiene concept “Safe Expo”, which is based on the current Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance of the 24th August 2021. As a result, the 3G rule and the obligation to wear medical mouth-nose protection apply at the exhibition grounds.
