On stage: Live cooking shows and vegan Youtube influencers
The Berlin bestseller author, nutrition expert and Youtube influencer Niko Rittenau presents recipes from her new cookbook of the same name together with vegan chef Sebastian Copien in the show cooking “Vegan Cooking for Beginners”. The vegan cook, author and zero-waste activist Sophia Hoffmann from Berlin gives tips on how to learn to cook intuitively during show cooking – matching her current book. Chris Popa from ProVeg informs in his lecture about how the vegan lifestyle contributes to solving global problems.
VeggieWorld with convincing infection protection concept
In September, an extensive hygiene concept tailored to VeggieWorld was adopted and presented for the safe implementation of the fair. “Our measures range from a 3G regulation to the contactless purchase of personalized tickets to wider corridors in the exhibition hall,” explains Wellfairs Managing Director Hendrik Schellkes. Furthermore, the hygiene protection concept regulates mask requirements, cleaning intervals, ventilation and consistent crowd management. So far, we have received positive feedback on our protection concept from almost all parties involved and are now looking forward to its implementation in practice, adds Hendrik Schellkes.
ProVeg as a strong partner
ProVeg was the source of ideas and co-initiator of VeggieWorld in 2011 and is still the patron and close cooperation partner of the organizer today. ProVeg is the first global nutrition organization to work for the plant lifestyle. In lectures on the VeggieWorld stage and at the ProVeg booth, the team informs about the mission and current projects of the organization.
VeggieWorld is the leading international trade fair series for the vegan lifestyle. VeggieWorld shows that a plant-based lifestyle is not only sustainable and animal-friendly, but also fun. Vegan manufacturers, caterers, resellers and social businesses present a colorful mix of milk and meat alternatives, superfoods, sweets, drinks, as well as clothing, accessories, cosmetics, services and projects at the fair. All products are vegan, often also certified organic and fairly traded. Visitors can find out about the many possibilities of vegan life. VeggieWorld also offers a wide range for trade visitors, such as restaurateurs, retailers or wholesalers. An attractive supporting program with interesting lectures and exciting cooking shows with stars of the vegan scene, tastings and personal contact with the respective manufacturers make VeggieWorld a unique experience. VeggieWorld has already taken place at 30 locations in 13 countries in Europe and Asia.
