The International Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Exhibition, C&R 2021, organized by IFEMA MADRID from November 16 to 19, starts its special edition in November with excellent expectations. And it is that this great fair of reference of the sectors of Air Conditioning, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Industrial and Commercial Cold, Heating and Plumbing, will represent an important revulsive to revitalize the activity of the sector in a context that guarantees safety and allows the recovery “face to face” of commercial relations.

More than 304 companies from 14 countries, along 47,000 m2 of exhibition, make up the event par excellence, of the thermal installations sector, which celebrates its reunion in style, after more than a year without meeting in face-to-face events. A unique opportunity to access the complete showcase of news, trends and lines of progress of this industry that points towards an increasingly ecological and digital future.

On this occasion, C&R will be extended along halls 6, 8 and 10 of IFEMA MADRID,with an articulation of contents that places the offer of air conditioning, heat pump and ventilation, in Hall 10; cooling in Hall 8, and heating and plumbing in Hall 6. A complete benchmark of novelties that come to respond to the currents of digital and ecological transition that preside over the European regulatory framework, as well as innovative solutions and equipment aimed at improving health guarantees from the control of indoor air quality, ventilation, comfort and safety of users, in line with the needs highlighted by the pandemic situation. C&R’s offering also showcases the latest in the use of renewable energy sources, reduces CO2 emissions, the use of greener refrigerants, and the application of advanced technologies that improve equipment functionalities and offer better functionalities for its installation.

C&R FORUM 2021

Precisely and in line with all these advances, the program of presentations FORO C & R, organized in collaboration with the Sectoral and Professional Associations that make up the Technical Commission of its Organizing Committee, have prepared a selection of key topics that will analyze some of the most topical issues, in a renewed format that includes six blocks of content to be developed in morning and afternoon sessions during all the days of the fair.

They will address the decarbonization of buildings; the evolution of rite changes, and indoor air quality beyond the pandemic. In addition, FORO C&R will dedicate a monograph of two sessions to Refrigeration, its challenges and future perspectives, in which energy optimization and sustainability for Industrial and Commercial refrigeration facilitieswill be discussed, and disruptive technologies; will analyze two major architectural and engineering projects, such as the Zendal hospital and Caleido the 5th tower, and will dedicate a chapter to training, as a key to sustainable employment and technological development.

This edition will not lack the didactic workshops aimed at the world of the installer, the Workshop of Applied Techniques of Air Conditioning and the Workshop of Refrigeration, with renewed themes to promote the best practices in the installation.

TALLER TAC, organizedwith the Association of Companies in the Facilities and Energy Sector, AGREMIA, will focus this year on indoor air quality, the need to know current regulations, zero or almost zero consumption in residential buildings from renewables, and the versatility of photovoltaic solarenergy. Specifically – TALLER TAC will address the following issues: Ventilation system – Extraction with energy recovery and CO2 detection systems in indoor environments; Handling of fluorinated equipment and replacement by ecological gases, according to RD 115/2017; Renewable Energy Aerothermal and geothermal energy, and Application of Photovoltaic Solar Energy to the world of heating. A.C.S. and air conditioning.

The Refrigeration Workshop, organized in collaboration with AEFYT,will offer seven different practices daily that will address a series of techniques around the installation and assembly of refrigeration systems. These practices will address the following topics: Assembly of a cold room with a Waterloop equipment; Glycol cooling system; Assembly of a transcritical CO2 system with refrigerated furniture; Assembly of a Mural Refrigerator with a Waterloop equipment; Other autonomous materials to handle. Gas detectors, etc; Electrical wiring from the central electrical panel to each of the services, and Towards Industry 4.0. Monitoring of different systems and data migration to the cloud.
