Young Savage Start-up Area and strong partners from the region
The Mode Heim Handwerk Spezial invites you to Messe Essen after a one-year break. From 11th to 14th November can be browsed, marveled and shopped on four days and in three halls this year. Traditional, but also new exhibitors will be there again. The popular leisure fair presents a colorful variety of products, services and entertainment programs on a wide variety of consumer topics. There are all sorts of things here that make your own home more beautiful, life more practical and the mood better.
Living, decorating, renovating, household, wellness, beauty, fashion, education, travel, art, sports, health, Christmas, handicrafts, design, cooking, baking, enjoyment – the topics that visitors encounter at the fashion home craft special are diverse and make the fair unique. Traditional brands and companies of the fair will also be represented again this year: from the Thermomix and leprechaun from Vorwerk to the cooking flower from Cooklife to the Zielinsky Universal Stone. We are very pleased that many exhibitors have remained loyal to us under the pandemic-related difficult circumstances. The format of the consumer fair is still in demand,” Susann Selent, project manager of Mode Heim Handwerk Spezial, looks at the upcoming event.
For non-profit organizations, associations and local institutions, Mode Heim Handwerk Spezial is a welcome platform to re-enter into the citizen dialogue, to advise, inform or to draw attention to projects. Numerous partners from the region participate in the Mode Heim Handwerk Spezial with many participatory and stand actions such as the Essener Sportbund, the Johanniter Unfallhilfe, the Polizeipräsidium Essen, the self-help associations under the roof of the meadow, Haus und Grund Essen, the Kreishandwerkerschaft Essen, Tischler NRW and the Funke Medien Group. The Federal Association of Mediation uses the fair to present mediation to a wide audience as a method for constructively resolving conflicts in the private and professional context.
Premiere at the fashion home craft special
The Mode Heim Handwerk Spezial welcomes some new exhibitors this year. The Franz Sales House impressively shows which quality products people with intellectual disabilities or mental disabilities produce in a total of seven workshop locations: beautiful and useful things made of high-quality materials as well as valuable, delicious food. The fashion shows are back on stage with new outfitters: The fashion house Adler brings its current autumn-winter collections for all ages and occasions to the catwalk. Students of the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee and the Hochschule Trier also present their fashion creations. They show how design can be combined with sustainable and responsible production.
Start-up companies receive their own exhibition and presentation space under the title “Young Savages”. The Mariechen women’s room, for example, shows a mix of lovingly designed fashion and decorative home accessories. Drive-Electro BE GmbH is a young company that specializes in electric vehicles – from scooters to vans.
