Europe’s leading exhibition and congress for the space industry meets in Bremen
For the fourth time in a row, MESSE BREMEN hosts Space Tech Expo Europe. On the three days from Tuesday to Thursday, 16th to 18th November, around 400 international exhibitors from the civil, military and commercial space industry will present their technological innovations in Halls 4, 4.1, 5 and 6. Several thousand trade visitors from industry and research are expected. The list of speakers of the accompanying congress is a who’s who of international space companies. Speakers include CEOs and senior managers of the UK Space Agency, Ariane Group, NASA, ESA and of course Airbus and OHB. The fact that Bremen has been – and will remain the location of the leading here from the beginning is a blank line to many European event on space technologies – and will remain so in the future – is another confirmation of the international reputation of the Hanseatic city in the professional world, says Hans Peter Schneider, Managing Director of M3B GmbH, which includes the brands MESSE BREMEN and CONGRESS

“We are very much looking forward to seeing Bremen again,” explains Gordon McHattie, Event Director of the organizer Smarter Shows based in Brighton, England – “because face-to-face meetings, discussions and collaborations are of great importance to advance projects in the European space sector.” According to McHattie, the number of registrations also speaks for the clear interest in meetings and exchanges. The MESSE BREMEN team has worked hard in a challenging time to be able to welcome us and our visitors again.
Space Tech Expo Europe is considered the most important European B2B exhibition and congress of the space industry. As part of the three-day trade fair, the latest developments in the fields of systems, components and manufacturing solutions for space travel will be presented. As in 2019, the small satellite industry will once again form its own focus in trade fair and conference congress. More than 100 exhibiting companies have announced their participation, covering the entire “Smallsat” manufacturing chain – from production and application to data processing. Space Expo Europe 2021 will be accompanied by the Onboard Connectivity Summit, a meeting of satellite industry and companies in the aviation and shipping industry.
Space Tech Expo Europe took place every two years from 2015. In 2019, more than 400 exhibitors and 5,000 4,500 experts from all over the world came to Bremen, explains project manager Silke Günther. In the future, the rhythm will be changed: Space Tech Expo will come back every year.
Space Tech Expo Europe will take place this year in Halls 4, 4.1, 5 and 6 of MESSE BREMEN.
