【DE】Great visitor interest at VeggieWorld Munich 2021

Last weekend is the 6th VeggieWorld Munich came to an end successfully. With over 75 exhibitors from 7 countries and almost 6,000 visitors, the first VeggieWorld Munich was a complete success after the corona restrictions.

Organizers are very satisfied

We were particularly pleased that the visitor interest was so great. In Munich, we were able to welcome almost 6,000 visitors to the fair and are very pleased about the numerous influx to VeggieWorld. In addition, we were already able to notice during the fair that many exhibitors were very satisfied with the willingness of the visitors to buy,” says Sabine Loos, Managing Director of Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe GmbH, who is the organizer of VeggieWolrd trade fairs with Messe Dortmund GmbH. She adds that “every successfully held trade fair in the current time is an important signal for the entire trade fair and event industry and, of course, for the entire economy.”

 

The atmosphere among exhibitors and visitors was great. The exhibitors in particular were very satisfied and many products were already sold out before the end of the fair, reports Hendrik Schellkes, Managing Director of Wellfairs GmbH. Wellfairs was commissioned by the organizer Messe Dortmund to carry out VeggieWorld. The numerous experts and chefs on the veggie stage also enjoyed great popularity. You just notice that people were really looking forward to VeggieWorld again after such a long time.”

 

The exhibitors presented vegan products from all walks of life. From meat substitutes made of different raw materials, to superfoods, cheese alternatives of all kinds or bracelets made of apple leather to ice cream, hemp fashion and vegan cosmetics, the exhibitors showed the whole range of a plant lifestyle.

 

Enthusiastic exhibitors and visitors

“Finally VeggieWorld again and thus a certain sense of normality. We have been looking forward to it for a long time. It was noticed that people wanted to feel great again. We are very satisfied with the sales and are already looking forward to the next VeggieWorlds,” commented André Eichhorn, Managing Director of Merula GmbH. Daniele Nowak from Vegablum, manufacturer of the vegan honey alternative Wonig, was also enthusiastic and commented with a wink: “It was a pleasure for us, thank you for letting you.”

 

Sven Neureuther from Munich visited VeggieWorld for the first time, together with his girlfriend: “Before, I was skeptical because I had not yet dealt so much with the topic of veganism. However, I really liked the fair and I was able to try many interesting products. In the future, I will try vegan alternatives much more often.”

The next VeggieWorld in Munich will take place from 12-13. November 2022 again in the mtc world of fashion.

 

ProVeg as a strong partner

ProVeg was the source of ideas and co-initiator of VeggieWorld in 2011 and is still the patron and close cooperation partner of the organizer today. ProVeg is the first global nutrition organization to promote plant lifestyle. In lectures on the VeggieWorld stage and at the ProVeg booth, the team informs about the mission and current projects of the organization.
