Observation deck from 3. November and restaurant from 5. November open again for visitors
Berlin, 11/01/2021 – With the resumption of face-to-face events at the Berlin exhibition center, the Berlin radio tower will also reopen its doors at the beginning of November. Visitors can from the 3rd November 2021 visit the observation deck again and observe the Berlin hustle and bustle from above. The new opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday from 12 noon to 7 pm. Tickets cost 8 euros for adults, for children up to and including 12. Year of life 4 euros. The visit to the radio tower is subject to the 2-G regulation (vaccinated or recovered).
Traditional Christmas buffet in the Funkturm restaurant
The “floating restaurant” at 55 meters altitude opens from the 5th November 2021 again in the evening hours and offers a winter and Christmas buffet until the end of December 2021, hosted by Messe Berlin subsidiary Capital Catering. The menu includes chestnut cream soup, crispy goose leg, Brandenburg venison goulash and pike perch fillet. The opening hours are Friday to Sunday from 6 pm to 11 pm. The winter and Christmas buffet costs 49.50 euros for adults, children pay up to and including the 12th. Year of life 1 euro per year of life achieved, after that they are among the adults.
In spring, the restaurant invites you to dishes from the asparagus season from mid-April to the end of June 2022. For private events, the restaurant can be booked exclusively as an event location. The radio tower is one of Berlin’s important landmarks. It was inaugurated in 1926 and is a popular excursion destination due to its observation deck at 126 meters altitude. The architectural and historical significance gave him monument status in 1966.
