Creative furnishing ideas, special accessories, inspiration and independent advice – at Heim+Handwerk, the trade fair audience will find a wide range of individual furnishing solutions from craft companies and experts from the region to make their own four walls even more beautiful. Products from smaller manufacturers will be presented at southern Germany’s largest trade fair for living and furnishing as well as well-known furniture brands. In addition, there is an opportunity to discover and buy gifts four weeks before Christmas.

Everything that makes life more beautiful: living, accessories and lifestyle

Whether handicrafts, jewelry, textiles, design lights, interior solutions or Christmas gifts – halls A1 and A2 of the Munich Exhibition Center are trend spaces for living and lifestyle. One of this year’s highlights is the freundin Wohlfühl Zuhause. Strong colors from dark green, dark blue, purple to coral red on walls and patterned wallpapers, showcase furniture and accessories from the freundin Home Collection. Bedroom, dining room and home office are lovingly designed down to the last detail with carpets, pillows, dishes and flowers and are a source of inspiration for your own home. If you want, you can also experience kitchen planning in a new form here. VR glasses allow you to look into the dream kitchen.

Individual and independent: Furnishing advice from experts

Independent experts offer exciting impulse lectures on living, furnishing and energy saving in the Forum WOHNEN. Personal furnishing advice based on their own apartment floor plan is provided by interior design students and lecturers of the Coburg University of Applied Sciences at planwerk. They show how great effects are achieved with little effort by changing furniture, grouping living areas with carpets, room dividers or luminaires. If you want to know how colors affect your own well-being or want basic advice before the new building or conversion, this is the right place for you.

Crafts: for the special Christmas magic

In addition to all furniture and accessories, Heim+Handwerk is also a shopping paradise for special Christmas gifts: from artistic pictures to cuddly plaids and fountain pens made of noble woods – here the word art in crafts is very important. For example, unique design such as the spice mills from Harris/Kohl, copper bottles from Forrest & Love or dreamlike hot water bottles, pillows and cuddly toys made of alpaca fur from Weich can be found.

Trending: Sustainable fashion and accessories

In addition, the trade fair audience can also look forward to fair fashion and accessories from GREENSTYLE@Heim+Handwerk this year. With innovative materials, regional production and forward-looking concepts, all facets of fair fashion are depicted. Among others, Angels Ambition, Frijda Juni, Lounge Cheri, Nata Y Limon, whose sustainable fashion meets the current zeitgeist, will be there.

Information, products and solutions: For building and saving energy

For those who want to modernize their home, Halls B1 and B2 are the ideal starting points. Products for construction, expansion, interior design and energy are available here for direct comparison: from complete prefabricated houses to windows, doors to whirlpools and saunas. Highlight are the Tiny Houses, which show how beautiful living can look in a small space. In addition to the gastronomic areas in the exhibition halls, the Stadtgarten offers relaxation, which in cooperation with the Horticulture Department presents the topic of biodiversity in the city and at the same time ensures an oasis of peace. The anticipation of the new garden season is already being boosted.

Healthy cooking and regional enjoyment: The meeting place for connoisseurs

Hall B3 awakens the desire for healthy enjoyment and homemade delicacies. Kitchens, kitchen appliances and accessories – cooking is even more fun in a beautiful kitchen with innovative kitchen aids. Parallel to Heim+Handwerk, FOOD & LIFE, the meeting place for connoisseurs, will take place in Hall A3. Products made from local ingredients and regional superfood are presented there for tasting and purchase. They are produced by traditional manufacturers and imaginative start-ups that provide information on the production and ingredients of their products. Together with the cooperation partner StartinFood, the FOOD & LIFE NEWCOMER AWARD 2021 will be awarded on Saturday. For the first time, the trade fair audience can vote for their favorite and win one of ten trial packages.
