Schwabenstein 2×4 club installs tens of thousands of colorful toy blocks for vertical mosaic at the Stuttgart Games Fair for four days

Anyone who knows the Schwabenstein 2×4 association knows that their builders are always good for a creative surprise. This time they had chosen the Stuttgart Games Fair for their coup with Lego® bricks. Not spilled, but blocked. One word is enough: World record! In four days, the specialists in plastics built a unique mosaic with dimensions of 4.80 meters to 1.50 meters and created the world’s largest vertical Lego® mosaic from 110,592 individual Legos. The previous record holder was a standing brick picture made of 104,690 Lego® blocks, which was built on the 1st /2. October 2016 at the Herbiers Exposure exhibition near Nantes in France. 5,902 more bricks were now installed by the Stuttgart Lego aficionados and they were not alone. Countless visitors to Stuttgart Messeherbst docked with hand at the gallery in the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1) and created the champion mosaic, which was created from 432 individual construction steps. “Without the support of BricksCreations, we would not have made it like this,” says Sven Dutkiewicz, Board Member of Schwabenstein 2×4.
Background for pirate landscape
In the future, the world record mosaic will serve as the background for the pirate landscape “1492” of BricksCreations, which visitors to Comic Con 2019 could already marvel at at the Stuttgart Trade Fair. At this year’s edition of the popular comic and cosplay fandom, the Stuttgart Lego® Association will present itself with its exhibition “Schwabenstein 2021”, especially with the huge railway system, exclusively redecorated to fantasy and sci-fi. Other highlights of the “Comic Stein Edition Stuttgart”: From “Lord of the Rings” the Seven Rings or the White Castle, Star Wars mocs from “Bantha Bricks”, “Imperium of Stones” and “Brickmoon”, a Star Wars mosaic for the series “The Bad Batch” four to three meters, the Star Wars figure wall of “JB Toys In addition, designer Stefano Mapelli from “Stebrick” and builder Luca Catalano from “Brickscreations” are looking forward to seeing the fans again.
