Visitors praise the concept of the offerta restart
Karlsruhe, 3. November 2021 – Even before the official start of the offerta restart at 10 a.m., the halls of the shopping and experience fair filled up on the opening Saturday. “The influx of visitors in the morning touched me emotionally,” says Melanie Seger, the project manager of offerta. Britta Wirtz, Managing Director of Messe Karlsruhe, also waited 500 long days for the starting signal for the trade fair business, which was given by the ministry in July of this year. “We gave everything and designed an offerta for our customers in this short time, as we can now experience it for nine days,” emphasizes the managing director at the opening talk in the atrium on Saturday. The first reactions of the visitors show that the generous planning of offerta 2021 is well received. “We found our offerta visit very pleasant this year,” praises Carola Neubauer from Graben-Neudorf. “We had more space at the individual stands and were able to stop in peace and inform ourselves,” the visitor continued. Steffen Lehmann from Karlsruhe is also pleased about the improved clarity in the halls and the relaxed atmosphere through the widened corridors: “I noticed that there is now more seating in the halls, that’s great”. Steffen Lehmann also likes the hygiene concept, which regulates wearing masks, among other things. The concept with the beer garden in the atrium is great, as you can take off your mask in the fresh air.
Newly designed market hall scores with visitors
It is over 140 meters long – the new pleasure mile in the market hall. The offer here ranges from sweet to hearty dishes. The numerous seating areas in the center of the dm-arena invite you to linger and eat. The majority of visitors awarded top marks for the gastronomic offer of the offerta in the first few days.
Music, hands-on activities and fashion shows
In addition to products and services from the four theme halls Leisure, Building, Lifestyle and the Markthalle, the shopping and experience fair will also offer a colorful supporting program in the next few days. Until Sunday, visitors can enjoy live music in decentralized places in all halls. Among them are regional artists such as Hannah Mannherz, Andreas Seeburger, Saxogerd or Lisa Huber. Stuntfunk awaits visitors between Halle Lifestyle and the Markthalle with a daily show at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Here it goes action-packed with the wheelie simulator and a stunt show. If you are interested in fashion, you should visit the lifestyle café in Hall 3 on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon. Karlsruhe designer Riaz Dan, Durlacher Modehaus Nagel and IMI fashion from Waldbronn show the latest fashion trends here. And cooking tips for the next family dinner at home or the Christmas menu can be found at the digital cooking stage, presented by the Badische Neueste Nachrichten, in the market hall. Visitors can find the program online at https://www.offerta.de/fuer-besucher/programm/.
3 G rule makes trade fair experience possible – despite warning level
Access to the exhibition center is regulated according to the version of the Corona Ordinance of the State of Baden-Württemberg valid at the time of the event. Basically, 3 G (vaccinated, recovered, tested) applies. On Wednesday, the 3rd November, the warning level was declared in Baden-Württemberg. This means that access to the fair for unvaccinated people is only possible with a PCR test that must not be older than 48 hours. Children and adolescents under the age of 18 (on presentation of a student ID card) as well as people who can demonstrably not be vaccinated (on presentation of a doctor’s certificate) are exempt from this regulation. You can be tested directly before visiting the fair in the test center at the West entrance. PCR tests are also possible to a limited extent here. Guests can also find the requirements for a visit to the fair at www.offerta.de/corona-hinweise/.
Tickets for the offer are available online at www.offerta.de/tickets, but also at the local ticket offices.
