【FR】URBEST postpones its January edition

The show will be held from March 29 to 31, 2022 at the Exhibition Center of the Eurometropolis of Metz

France, like many countries, is facing a new wave of Covid, reinforced by the meteoric expansion of the Omicron variant. This deteriorating health situation impacts economic actors. Faced with the peak of contamination, many exhibitors and partners expressed concern about the organization and difficulty of mobilizing visitors in these circumstances.

In this context, to guarantee the safety of all and ensure exhibitors and partners optimize their participation, URBEST, the Salon des décideurs de l’espace public du Grand Est, is postponed at the end of March 2022. Initially scheduled from January 25 to 27, the evolution of the situation requires great flexibility for everyone. This is why the organizing teams, in consultation with the main actors and partners of the show, have decided to postpone this 27th edition from March 29 to 31, 2022.

A unique event in the Grand Est, this trade show dedicated to local authorities and public space, will once again bring together all the major players in public procurement: institutional partners specialized in the management, services, planning and development of local authorities.

URBEST will therefore take place from March 29 to 31, 2022, at the Exhibition Center of the Eurometropolis of Metz. As a reminder, this 27th edition is built around the theme “Smart cities and villages – Elected: what new tools at the service of your project? »

Many highlights will punctuate the 3 days of the show:

➢ Strengthened partnership with the Association of Rural Mayors of the Moselle (gala dinner open to all exhibitors),

➢ Program of conferences, round tables and animations, in connection with the challenges of mayors, intermunicipalities and companies,

➢ Public procurement appointments, with the Chamber of Crafts and Crafts of the Grand Est region, which organize within the framework of URBEST a meeting time between companies and buyers of public procurement throughout the Grand Est.

➢ 3rd edition of the Innovation Awards, in partnership with the weekly La Semaine.

➢ Launch, as part of URBEST, of “T.P. East” of a new regional event for the Public Works division.

The show remains more than ever a privileged place for meetings, business, exchanges and debates alongside elected officials and decision-makers in communities in the Far East.
