【ES】FIMA 2022 – the next exhibition will be held from 26th to 30th April

The dates of the 42nd International Fair of Agricultural Machinery have been changed with the aim of offering greater safety, looking to provide a first-class forum for national and international professionals.

Due to the uncertainties arising from the current situation, at international level, in regard to the Covid-19 pandemic, Zaragoza Exhibition Centre and the event Organising Committee have taken the decision to change the dates of the upcoming FIMA show (which was due to be held in February) and which will finally take place from 26th to 30th April 2022.

This decision by Zaragoza Exhibition Centre has been taken with the aim of offering an adequate response to the concerns arising from the current evolution in the pandemic and how this could affect the outcome of the event. Hence, with the essential support of exhibiting firms, institutions, associations, entities and the professionals that unfailingly attend the event, the organisation has decided to move the dates to the month of April 2022.

Zaragoza Exhibition Centre has put in place all the necessary mechanisms to guarantee the safety of participants at the event (controls at access and exit points, use of face masks, social distancing, control of capacity, constant air renewal in show halls and conference rooms as well as increased disinfection and hygiene measures. In the Iberian Peninsula currently more than 90% of the population are fully vaccinated, and the booster jab programme is well under way. The aim is to establish elements that provide a safe space that complies with all of the required measures.

Once more FIMA 2022 will be a launch pad for the professional sector. Zaragoza Exhibition Centre’s halls will again showcase all the latest advances and innovations in an industry that bases its development on technology, innovation and knowledge.

FIMA’s Organising Committee expressly thanks the more than 1,300 participating firms for their support; they are a true reflection of the volume and quality of the equipment and services that can be found at the show.

Zaragoza Exhibition Centre is totally confident that from 26th to 30th April, FIMA will be the hub for sectoral encounters as well as a professional space that will contribute once more to combining synergies and generating business, as it has done throughout the previous forty-one shows.

Agriculture 4.0, technification of processes, digitalisation, special crops, sustainability, training, talent management, technological innovations, sustainable development goals, common agricultural policy or the numerous technical conferences and product presentations will be just some of the keys areas of interest enhancing this representative showcase of Mediterranean agriculture.

Without doubt FIMA, along with the whole of the agricultural industry, will continue to contribute to a sector that is essential for the circular economy, health and sustainability of our planet.
