As a specialist in each of these 3 areas, the Group is involved in every aspect of events, from defining and designing the project to the implementation of operations on the ground. EUREXPO LYON

 

With 140,000 sqm of surface area and the capacity to hold large-scale events, Eurexpo Lyon is the largest exhibition park in France after Paris and one of the top 14 exhibition parks in Europe (EMECA rankings). In 2017, the venue welcomed nearly 1.5 million visitors.

 

The venue’s 7 connected halls offer individual spaces ranging from 2,000 to 27,000sqm and can accommodate exhibitions of all sizes. With 3 independent entrances (each having their own parking areas), the park can host several events simultaneously.

  • The Espace Paul Bocuse (10,000 sqm) and its auditorium with a capacity of 1,500 to 4,200 places is ideal for congresses and large corporate conventions.

 

  • The Espace Confluence (7,000 sqm) is like a genuine convention centre in itself.

Eurexpo Lyon is ideally situated between Lyon city centre and Lyon-Saint Exupéry International Airport, just 20 minutes from the city’s TGV train stations and with 2,200 hotel rooms (all categories) within an 8km radius around the venue.

 

The venue has been regularly updated and extended. After the Hall Paul Bocuse in 2011 and Hall 2.1 inaugurated in 2015, Eurexpo Lyon recently added a new extension of nearly 10,000 sqm delivered in October 2018: Hall 7. These extensions enable the venue to keep pace with the development of its leading fairs and exhibitions and make it possible to host new fairs even during peak periods. They are part of the Eurexpo Lyon development plan. Indeed, the venue has established itself as a real alternative to Paris, with many national-level trade fairs deciding to hold their events in Lyon.

An emblematic events venue in the heart of Lyon’s Docklands and Confluence district, La Sucrière is an industrial building dating back to the 30s and completely renovated in 2011. Voyage Samaritaine Paris Pont-Neuf is now an unavoidable event space.

 

Located in the heart of Paris (1st arrondissement), near to the Louvre museum, between the Pompidou center and the island of the city, the Samaritaine is an exceptional place. Imagined by Ernest and Marie-Louise Cognac-Jaÿ, the old little shop turned into a prestigious luxury department store, it has just reopened its doors after a long period of renovation.

Nestled on the 5th and last floor of the store, under the authentic glass roof, Voyage Samaritaine Paris Pont Neuf is the event space of the department store, managed by GL events Group. It provides 1,000 sqm of flexible spaces, a restaurant led by the starred chef Mathieu Viannay (2 stars and « Best Worker in France » award in 2004) and a bar orchestrated by the nonconformist mixologist Matthias Giroud. Equipped with the latest technologies and in particular a timeless and customizable 12 meter LED screen, this new event venue adapts to all desires and needs.

Maison de la Mutualité provides 3,500 sqm of event space that can be adapted to all types of events from 35 to over 2,500 people. Its famous theatre can be laid out in different formats and is equipped with the latest stage technologies. The theatre can hold 300 people in cabaret format and seat up to 1,725 people. The MEETT, Toulouse Exhibition and Convention Centre (opened in september 2020) is one of the largest event venues in France. The Exhibition Centre comprises 40,000 sqm of exhibition spaces divided into 7 modular halls, capable of hosting major events. It is equipped with two mezzanines, complementing the building and giving it a certain originality. A 14,000 sqm central road looking onto 25,000 sqm of outdoor exhibition spaces leads to the Exhibition Centre and provides direct access to the Convention Centre. Built on two floors, the Convention Centre is able to host professional events for up to 10,000 people, and can be adapted to create different atmospheres whithin 15,000 sqm of modular spaces.

 

The wide variety of event spaces – 3 foyers totalling 7,780 sqm, a total of 12 meeting rooms and an auditorium with 3,364 seats – make it an exceptional venue. This multi-purpose, modular venue can host all types of events: congresses, conventions, seminars, gala evenings, etc. The Toulouse Exhibition and Convention Centre is in an ideal geographical location and will have more than 5,000 parking spaces.

The Group’s trade fairs address all major economic sectors: industry, construction, culture and leisure, housing, environment, trade and distribution, etc. Particularly strong sectors include fashion and textiles, the agri-food industry, and swimming pools, for which the Group organises leading international events for the professions concerned. This diverse portfolio of sectors is reinforced by the Group’s ability to produce events in different countries and the fact it works on both BtoB and BtoC exhibitions.

Grande Halle d’Auvergne

 

An Exhibition Centre that looks over the Gergovie plateau and the volcanoes of Auvergne.

​​​​​​​With its modular event space, the architecture of this practical and unique venue blends harmoniously into the surrounding nature.

The Grande Halle d’Auvergne and the Zénith hall are on the same site and can be combined together to meet the requirements of large international events or used to host two different events simultaneously.

The Grande Halle d’Auvergne Exhibition Centre is situated on a 100-hectare site looking onto the volcanoes of Auvergne. Less than 15 minutes from the centre of Clermont-Ferrand, and just 10 minutes from the airport, the event complex is close to several motorway junctions, making it the ideal venue for events in the centre of France. With its exceptional architecture (using wood, glass and Volvic stone), it blends in perfectly with the surrounding area against the backdrop of the volcanoes of Auvergne. It even houses Zénith d’Auvergne concert hall, which is renowned for its remarkable design and great atmosphere.

 

The Grande Halle d’Auvergne is equipped with the latest technologies fibre optics and wi-fi throughout the site and up to 1,500 simultaneous Internet connections.

France – Strasbourg

Strasbourg Exhibition Centre

The Strasbourg Exhibition Centre is in the heart of Strasbourg close to the European institutions.

 

Set in six hectares of land, the first part of the new Strasbourg Exhibition Centre will be delivered in the spring of 2021, and the entire complex completed in 2022. It has been designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates. It will consist of 5 exhibition halls, an outdoor exhibition area and a car park.

In the meantime, a temporary Exhibition Centre has been installed in Rue Fritz Kieffer, where part of the final complex will be built. This temporary exhibition centre is fully equipped and provides excellent technical, thermal and aesthetic characteristics. It is made up of two halls, of 12,500 sqm and 4,800 sqm respectively, and can host all types of events.

This new facility is close to the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès (Concert and Convention Centre) and already offers complementary solutions and spaces for events.

Caen Exhibition Centre is located close to the city centre, between the Zenith concert hall and the horse-racing stadium.
