How smart are the citizens of Karlsruhe already moving through traffic today? Which apps and other services do they use for this and how is the offer received? These questions are the focus of a survey, the results of which will be discussed with experts and citizens as part of the SMART MOBILITY TALKS at the IT-TRANS trade fair.
On the first day of the fair, Alexander Pischon, Managing Director Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund GmbH and Frank Pagel, project manager regiomove, will ask themselves the question of today’s smart mobility and discuss results from the citizen survey. Eva-Maria Knoch, Managing Director KIT Center Mobility Systems, focuses on the fact that a lot and intensive research is already being carried out in Karlsruhe on the mobility of the future, especially on the automation of public transport, on a panel discussion with citizens’ dialogue on the second day of the fair. Claus Doll (Fraunhofer ISI) invites you to lectures, simulation and panel discussion with representatives from research, the municipality and youth on day three of the fair to explore what mobility looks like in the city of the future in 2050.
