Trade fair for therapy in North Rhine-Westphalia cancelled / TheraPro in Stuttgart will take place again on the 3rd – 5th February 2023

The TheraPro food, originally for the 2nd and 3rd Planned for September 2022, will be discontinued. This was decided by agreement by Messe Stuttgart, organizer of the trade fair for therapy, rehabilitation and prevention at the Essen location, together with the advisory board and partners.

TheraPro Essen successfully launched a TheraPro offshoot in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2018 with the first event and continued this success in 2019 with a follow-up event. But in the following two years, the trade fair could not take place and had to pause twice due to Corona. Three years after the last event, the project must “start almost from scratch, because the pandemic has hit the young event sensitively,” says Andreas Wiesinger, Member of the Messe Stuttgart Executive Board. In addition, the event and trade fair calendar in the region is already tightly timed for the target industry, so that a successful resumption is not in prospect.

Stuttgart location remains

“We thank the exhibitors and visitors for the trust they have placed in us. We regret that TheraPro Essen can no longer take place,” says Stefan Lohnert, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart. “The therapeutic offer remains a decisive issue at Messe Stuttgart. With TheraPro in Stuttgart, we have been offering a popular, supra-regional point of contact for therapists for years. We are now looking ahead and focusing our forces on the further expansion of TheraPro Stuttgart in the successful duo with MEDIZIN.”

TheraPro Stuttgart will celebrate its tenth anniversary next year. The successfully established trade fair for physiotherapy and occupational therapy, speech therapy, podiatry and health-oriented gyms will take place again together with MEDIZIN – Fachmesse + Kongress on the 3rd to 5th. February 2023 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center.
