Nearly 200 exhibitors are expected in Hall 4 at Porte de Versailles from June 7 to 9, 2022 for the European Mobility Expo. Milan will be the guest city of honor for this tenth edition. In parallel with the show, the GART and the UTP will offer 9 major conferences with free access. Jean-Marc Jancovici will inaugurate a special morning devoted to the energy transition.


Milan in the spotlight

Italy’s main financial centre, but also the country’s leading city in terms of commerce and industry, Milan is at the heart of an extensive transport network. Milanese public transport is very efficient, thanks to an extensive network of buses, trams and metros circulating throughout the city. The City of Milan aims to rethink the use of roads and public space in favor of non-polluting mobility (walking, cycling, soft mobility, etc.) and to develop areas that can accommodate commercial and cultural activities. , sports and leisure. The objective: the “quarter-hour city”, on the scale of the district, allowing all city dwellers to have access to most services in the immediate vicinity.


Among the major projects to come:

– Construction and commissioning of the M4 metro line which should allow

save 30 million car trips and 2% emissions per year.

– Creation of 75 km of additional cycle paths planned for 2022, in addition to

to the already existing 298 km.

– Deployment of MaaS by integrating multiple public transport services and

private (e-bikes, buses, self-service cars, trains, taxis, planes,

scooters, etc.) within a single digital platform.

Innovation at the heart of the show

New electric, hydrogen or biogas vehicles, MaaS applications, maintenance, ticketing or passenger information solutions, use of artificial intelligence and big data, active mobility players… The 200 exhibitors, French and international , will demonstrate their technological and environmental performance to the 11,000 participants expected.

Jean-Marc Jancovici will inaugurate a special morning devoted to the energy transition

Engineer specializing in energy and climate, the co-founder of Carbone 4 and author of the Plan for the transformation of the French economy and the comic strip Le monde sans fin, will come to present his analysis of the ecological crisis that we are going through and present his recommendations for daily mobility. Two major conferences on the issues and technical solutions on the one hand and the financing and organization of networks on the other hand will follow this intervention.
