The association of Leipzig Book Fair, Manga Comic Con, Leipzig liest and Antiquarian Fair will take place from the 27th to the 30th. April 2023 in Leipzig. “In 2023 there will be a later Leipzig Book Fair in the Leipzig Exhibition Halls and in the entire city of Leipzig,” says Martin Buhl-Wagner, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. “With all our partners, we will finally celebrate reading again. Scheduling for April offers the safest setting for further developing the event network with exciting concepts.” Registration for the Leipzig Book Fair 2023 will be possible from August.
Book fair director Oliver Zille adds: “This year’s cancellation has triggered a real storm in the book industry, which showed us one thing: We all want this book fair, need this meeting place for the book and media world – but the pandemic remains unpredictable. In order to enable maximum planning security despite this uncertainty, we are postponing the Leipzig Book Fair next year to the end of April.”
Registration possible from August
Registration for the Leipzig Book Fair 2023 will be possible from August. Then the details of program focal points, presentation options and conditions of participation will also be announced. From 2024, the Leipzig Book Fair plans again with its original date in March.
