【DE】Looking forward to Perimeter Protection 2023

The anticipation of Perimeter Protection from the 17th to the 19th January 2023 is big. Pandemic-related and in consultation with the exhibitors and partners Gütegemeinschaft Metallzauntechnik e.V., Verband für Sicherheitstechnik e.V. (VfS) and the UAV DACH e.V., was decided in 2022 to postpone Perimeter Protection by one year. The planning for the event in January 2023 is already in full swing and 90% of the exhibition space is already fully booked.

“The atmosphere in the industry is great. Everyone is looking forward to Perimeter Protection in January 2023. It is a pity that we had to postpone the fair in 2022, but the greater the joy and focus on next January. We are already in the middle of the planning and are currently planning the last floor space. At the moment, we have almost 130 exhibitors with a high international share. 9 exhibitors have already been registered for the special area U.T.SEC,” says Hanna Schneider, Manager of Perimeter Protection at NürnbergMesse.

A picture of the entire range of mechanical, electrical and electronic safety solutions awaits trade visitors. The integration of the U.T.SEC platform, which focuses on the technical, legal and practical possibilities for using and defending against drones and other unmanned technologies, completes the fair.

Top-class expert lectures in the specialist forum

The Perimeter Protection 2023 once again offers an accompanying specialist forum with high-ranking speakers. Practical solutions will be presented over three days and there will be plenty of opportunity for professional exchange and expert discussions.

The topics of perimeter protection, fence technology, building security and unmanned technologies are an integral part and are realized in cooperation with the Verband für Sicherheitstechnik e.V., the UAV DACH e.V. and Curpas e.V. Thus, the lectures focus on innovative approaches and novel solutions and take up current topics. Furthermore, the specialist forum offers companies and institutions the opportunity to present their professional know-how and offer to trade fair and lecture visitors.

The following highlights have already been determined in the specialist forum:

  • The intelligent gate as part of the security concept
  • The latest on the standards for doors and gates, status and outlook
  • Drones to expand the security concept with dynamic systems
  • Threat detection, spotlights from a field trial

Since Perimeter Protection moves to the new Halls 1 and 2 in 2023, the supporting program will also switch to the NCC Mitte.

More information about the supporting program will be available soon here: www.perimeter-protection.de/fachforum
