GLOBAL HYDROGENERATION celebrates its premiere at ILA 2022
Hydrogen is a key element for the success of the energy transition and thus an important future topic for experts from politics, industry and science. With GLOBAL HYDROGENERATION, Messe Berlin is launching a new networking platform at ILA 2022 to bring together interested parties and decision-makers from all areas. Climate neutrality until 2050 for the European aviation industry is one of the core topics of this year’s ILA. Thus, the leading trade fair for sustainability, new technologies and innovation offers the optimal framework for the premiere of GLOBAL HYDROGENERATION.
“In order to create decarbonization on an industrial scale, a completely new hydrogen supply infrastructure is required,” says Jasmin Bumanowski, director of GLOBAL HYDRGENERATION and adds: “Time is pressing for the necessary, complete and socially just climate neutrality. The ILA brings together the most important market participants from all over the world. Therefore, it is important for us to give the starting signal for this new format here. The name is no coincidence. We are concerned with the next generation and global cooperation in it. ”
The exhibitors of GLOBAL HYDROGENERATION include the Brandenburg aerospace company APUS Group, the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. the Hydrogen Association H2Berlin, and the research institute ZAL TechCenter. The three-day program starts with a panel discussion with Stefan Gelbhaar (MdB, Alliance 90/The Greens and spokesman for transport policy.

The Berlin International Aerospace Exhibition will take place for the first time at the newly opened BER airport. The Federal Association of the German Aerospace Industry e.V. (BDLI) and Messe Berlin GmbH expect for the first time an international trade audience, high-ranking guests from politics and numerous visitors on the public days at the weekend.
