Südwest Messe is open!

Kick-off with State Secretary Dr. Patrick Rapp – Until the 19th June great product variety and exciting special shows at the exhibition center in Villingen-Schwenningen – On the first day, around 7000 visitors came

Lots of radiant faces at the main entrance and a lot of relief that it finally starts again: The region has its southwest fair back! “It is absolutely right to hold this event,” confirmed Dr. Patrick Rapp, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg, in his opening speech in the well-filled forum in Hall Y. “Measures are the most effective and fastest tool for bringing about an economic recovery.” Nothing can replace cooperation, contact from person to person.

Lord Mayor Jürgen Roth was also pleased about the new start of the fair: “I am thrilled by this incredible variety of exhibitors, products and program items. Here, current trend topics are taken up and filled with life. Here you can touch things and perceive them with all your senses. This is the recipe for success!” After the official opening, guests of honor and media representatives went on a tour of the exhibition center.

Until the 19th June, around 400 exhibitors will show products and services from all areas of life in 14 halls and in the outdoor area – a paradise for kitchen fairies, fitness fans, do-it-yourselfers and professionals, garden lovers, gourmets and everyone who wants to build or modernize. Visitors can get advice directly at the stand and get individual tips from the expert. From fire brigades and rescue services to sporting challenges on the boulder wall to the lovingly designed model railway system: Innovative special shows show everyday life from new perspectives and invite the whole family to participate and try out.
