Trade fair month of June with top-class events at the Stuttgart exhibition center / First nationwide economic forum of L-Bank
After the successful comeback of LogiMat, which opened the June trade fair month in Stuttgart with a fully occupied site as an international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, a number of other top-class events are on the agenda at Messe Stuttgart this month.
It will be compact from the 21st to the 23rd. June, when Surface Technology Germany, International Trade Fair for Surface Technology, the Automotive Testing Expo as the leading international trade fair for all aspects of technologies for automotive testing, development and validation as well as the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, Europe’s most influential hub for innovation, research and development in the automotive sector, will take place in parallel in the Stuttgart exhibition halls. At the same time, the own events CastForge, the trade fair for casting and forging parts with machining, as well as the LASYS, International Trade Fair for Laser Material Processing, are at the start as a mandatory date for the respective trade audience.
On the 23rd June, the HolzLand community meets with suppliers and the Marketing Association for German Wood Retailers (MDH) in Stuttgart under the motto “competent – focused – in love with wood”. And The Hall of Vape, according to its own information, Europe’s largest e-cigarette fair for trade visitors and end users, will take place on the 25th and 26th. June groundbreaking smoke signs rise. Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo Europe complements itself congenially with the Battery Show Europe Expo as the leading meeting place for the battery and hydrogen / EV technology community (both trade fairs from 28th to 30th June).
L-Bank’s first nationwide economic forum
As a final point and highlight in one, on the 29th. June, the first nationwide L-Bank economic forum with practical workshops as a platform for SME financing will take place at Messe Stuttgart. This Wednesday, companies can obtain comprehensive information about the country’s funding opportunities in a compact form. Co-organizers are Bürgschaftsbank Baden-Württemberg, Baden-Württembergische Handwerkstag and Baden-Württembergische Industrie- und Handelstag. After the opening by Edith Weymayr, CEO of L-Bank, Jochen Engert, co-founder and deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Flix SE (including brands such as Flixbus and Greyhound Lines in long-distance bus transport and since March 2018 the subsidiary Flixtrain), will become a keynote speaker on the topic “Against all resistance – Long-term vision & innovation always win in the end!” speak. According to the organizer, Engert, together with his founding team, showed courage and seized the liberalization of the long-distance bus market in Germany almost ten years ago as an opportunity, but also showed how to deal with and learn from great challenges.
At the subsequent panel discussion, Wolfgang Grenke, President of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and Rainer Reichhold, President of the Baden-Württemberg Crafts Day, exchange ideas. The event is moderated by Joachim Dorfs, editor-in-chief of the Stuttgarter Zeitung. The uniquely nationwide L-Bank Economic Forum is framed by a trade fair with more than two dozen exhibitors from Baden-Württemberg. Topics include: financing and promotion, digitization, resource efficiency, internationalization, mobility, corporate management and economic protection. The aim of the event is neutral and practice-oriented advice.
