2022 is the year of the great return of French companies to Interschutz – the largest international trade fair for fire prevention and control, civil protection, rescue and disaster management.
The French security industry is a top industry on the other side of the Rhine. Above all, it is one of the most successful export industries in France: goods and services worth 30 billion. EUR turnover is in the books for 2020 – of which about 50 percent is attributable to exports. 130,000 people find work in this industry – mainly in the field of electronic security (44 percent) and physical security (33 percent).

In recent years, French security companies have been able to adapt to the new global challenges and threats, be it natural, industrial, health or pandemic threats. The solutions offered by the French delegation at this first post-Covid edition of Interschutz are in perfect harmony with the priority challenges “Teams, Tactics, Technology – Networked for Protection and Rescue” chosen by the organizing teams. Two key aspects of connectivity are particularly important in the industry: the use of innovative digital solutions and increased cooperation between emergency services and industry.

The France Pavilion is organized by the Agency Business France, the international agency of France, in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior (DCIS – Directorate for International Cooperation in Security Issues) of the DGSCGC – Directorate General for Civil Security and Crisis Management, the FFMI (French Association of Fire Brigade Professions), GICAT (Association of Defense and Security Industries on Land and Air), FFC Constructeurs (French Association of Bodybuilders), FACIM (National Association of Manufacturers of Civil and Military Administrative Supplies) and the Competence Center SAFE Cluster as well as the FNSPF (National Fire Brigade Association) and Atraksis (structure dedicated to innovation in rescue). This event is dedicated to the La French Fab brand – the flagship of the industrial ecosystem of France.
