【DE】INDOOR VENTILATION ALSO A TOPIC FOR HOUSE BUILDERS

The trade fair and conference for infection protection measures pro.vention will be held at Haus.Bau.Ambiente, the fair for modern construction and life, from the 3rd to the 4th. November 2022. The reason is the role of ventilation technology in enclosed spaces during renovations and disadvantages can be compensated for in new buildings.

Public institutions, event venues, restaurateurs and hoteliers have been most affected by the pandemic and have converted their facilities/operations to the highest standard with air purification systems and ventilation technology in recent years. Now that the pandemic has been stopped for the time being and people are increasingly outdoors, the pandemic has also changed. But what can we expect in autumn?

Due to the change in the pandemic situation, Messe Erfurt, as the organizer of pro.vention, is also motivated to adapt the requirements for the trade fair and conference for infection protection. “We took a closer look at our portfolio of our own events and identified them according to possibilities of exchanging information. The greatest synergies have arisen with the connection of pro.vention to Haus.Bau.Ambiente.,” explains Michael Kynast, Managing Director of Messe Erfurt GmbH. Because thematic worlds of Haus.Bau.Ambiente “Building and Energy” as well as “Renovation and Modernize” enable an exchange of the various trade visitor groups and “especially when renovating residential complexes or considering new buildings, ventilation concepts very often have to be created in order to ensure hygienic air conditions and save heating energy. And this is exactly where the main topics of pro.vention tie in,” the trade fair manager suggests.

As part of the pro.vention, which takes place from the 3rd to the 4th November in the Cube and Hall 2, interested visitors will be informed about current developments and findings from the pandemic situation and in the field of air filter systems, technology and cleaning as well as infection protection. On the 4th November begins in parallel the Haus.Bau.Ambiente., which makes it possible for trade visitors to grant access to pro.vention.

Diana Keucher, Head of Trade Fairs, Events & Service, supports Mr. Kynast’s statement: “Both specialist events benefit greatly from each other. Knowledge of the pandemic situation and hygiene requirements is constantly growing. This can not only be used by trade visitors of pro.vention, but also by visitors to Haus.Bau.Ambiente.. Both events are about trends and energy efficiency of interiors.”

The pro.vention will open on Thursday evening, 3. November 2022 with a panel discussion and a keynote speaker. Friday, 4. November 2022, is dedicated to topics for ventilation indoors and new buildings with a conference program in Hall 2. Among other things, the latest standards and upgrades in the respective buildings are also presented here. In addition to the conference, companies present their products in the field of ventilation technology.

Also on Friday, the 3rd Construction day of Thuringia in the Carl Zeiss Hall. Architects and engineers exchange ideas in this forum and are another synergy partner for pro.vention and its trade visitors.
