【DE】Even more FUN at the exhibition center: Berlin Travel Festival complements BOOT & FUN BERLIN’s offer

BOOT & FUN BERLIN expands range of offers on the subject of travel – Berlin Travel Festival will take place under the umbrella of BOOT & FUN BERLIN at the Berlin exhibition center in the future – Save the date: BOOT & FUN BERLIN – 24th to 27th November 2022 | Berlin Travel Festival – 25th to 27th November 2022

BOOT & FUN BERLIN, which will take place this year from 24th to 27th November 2022, expands its offer for everyone who likes to spend their free time on, in or by the water. In the future, the BERLIN TRAVEL FESTIVAL will take place under the umbrella of the popular Berlin boat and leisure fair. For travel enthusiasts and travel holics, this means: even more FUN at the exhibition center.

“Travel and leisure naturally belong together. The BERLIN TRAVEL FESTIVAL offers new suggestions for holiday planning next year and invites you to get to know new destinations, holiday activities and travel trends. This makes the festival a perfect complement to the offer we make at the boat and leisure fair BOOT & FUN BERLIN, says Martin Ecknig, CEO of Messe Berlin.

Three days of travel & more

From 25th to 27th November 2022, the three-day travel and lifestyle festival will take place on the grounds of Messe Berlin. The exhibitor portfolio ranges from destinations, tour operators, accommodation and means of transport to publishers for travel literature, manufacturers of travel gadgets and tiny house experts to various brands that feel connected to travel.

The heart of the festival will be an extensive stage program. In addition to exciting travel lectures, visitors can expect a series of panel discussions with travel experts, workshops and an extensive family participatory program. In the past, the BERLIN TRAVEL FESTIVAL – as a consumer partner event of the ITB Berlin – parallel to the ITB – took place in the Arena Treptow. Since ITB Berlin will focus on the B2B sector in the future, the BERLIN TRAVEL FESTIVAL will complement the offer of the boat and leisure fair in November in the future.

Daniel Barkowski, project manager BOOT & FUN BERLIN: “With the BERLIN TRAVEL FESTIVAL, we are expanding our offer with an important component. Be it travel, boat or other leisure planning – in November, our audience will find numerous inspirations, ideas and trends at BOOT & FUN Berlin to plan the new season. For our exhibitors and partners, there are profitable synergies and the opportunity to open up new target groups. We are very much looking forward to the future cooperation with the Berlin Travel Festival.”

Bernd Neff, founder of the Berlin Travel Festival: “It’s all about the Experience! Through this merger, we are overjoyed to create an even larger experience and information forum for our community and are thus also committed to this year’s motto: Rediscovering the world.”

BOOT & FUN BERLIN ready to take off

BOOT & FUN BERLIN will take place from the 24th to the 27th November 2022 in the exhibition halls under the Berlin radio tower. The boat and leisure fair in the middle of Europe’s largest inland water sports area combines leisure activities on, in and on the water in one place. On four days, everything revolves around the topics of leisure, experience and mobility: In addition to Germany’s largest trade fair on the trend topic of fishing – ANGELWELT BERLIN – AUTO CAMPING CARAVAN and TRANSPORTER TAGE BERLIN also take place in conjunction with BOOT & FUN BERLIN.
