On the 16th and 17th September 2022 the time has come: therapie DÜSSELDORF is launched as a new industry platform for therapists in western Germany and is thus celebrating its premiere in presence. Physiotherapists, occupational and sports therapists, trainers and trainers from rehabilitation and health sports can look forward to product innovations and practical, certified training.

“Our combination of first-class training in the congress paired with an exciting market insight at the trade fair is precisely tailored to the needs of the therapeutic professional audience,” explains Birgit Mücklich, project director of therapie DÜSSELDORF. “This makes therapie DÜSSELDORF the only specialist event of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia.”

The event receives support from the Association of Physical Therapy (VPT) and PHYSIO DEUTSCHLAND, among others, both of which contribute to the trade fair program with current professional policy topics.

Double power through parallelism to REHACARE

Through cooperation with REHACARE, the leading international trade fair for rehabilitation and care (14th to 17th September 2022) and the resulting overlap in the field of rehabilitation, the trade visitors of therapie DÜSSELDORF benefit from an expanded range of information and exhibitions. “We are very pleased that therapie DÜSSELDORF will finally take place parallel to REHACARE in our exhibition hall 1. The event is a wonderful addition to REHACARE: Therapists who come to Düsseldorf for professional training participate simultaneously with their ticket in the trade fair event and the latest aids presented at REHACARE. The cooperation of Messe Düsseldorf with Leipziger Messe results in valuable synergy effects and significant added value for visitors to both events,” says Hannes Niemann, Project Director of Messe Düsseldorf.

Congress diversity: From post-Covid treatment to digital movement therapy

From evidence-based neurorehabilitation, digital movement therapy for chronic diseases or full-body EMS, the offers of ptHOLIdays – the series of events of Richard Pflaum Verlag – cover the areas of neurorehabilitation, sports therapy, physical medicine and rehabilitation, prevention and rehabilitation and rehabilitation and health sports.

The publisher modernes lernen from Dortmund also provides technical input with the seminar series “leraning to go”. The six lectures in total focus on the topics “Post-COVID clients in occupational therapy”, “Scar therapy for burns”, “Designing occupational therapy individually”, “Recognizing and promoting borderstones of early childhood development” and “Cognitive behavioral therapeutic measures in occupational therapy”.
