Enovitis in campo, an exhibition with live demonstrations organised by Unione Italiana Vini and dedicated to the presentation of products, technology, machinery and services for modern vineyard cultivation, is returning on 23 and 24 June. The 16th edition of the event, the most important of its kind in Italy, will be held for the first time in Friuli Venezia Giulia. A land of wines and borders, Friuli Venezia Giulia is an important hub not only for winemakers in the Northeast of Italy, but also for those in Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Hungary. The winery hosting the event is Tenuta Cà Bolani, located in the heart of Doc Aquileia. With over 500 hectares, the estate is the largest expanse of vineyards in northern Italy, growing mostly white grape varieties. On the occasion of the last edition, held in July 2021 in Mombaruzzo (AT), the event attracted more than 6,000 visitors. About 150 exhibitors are expected this year.
Among the new features at this year’s edition of Enovitis in campo: for the first time, a specific area set aside for robots and automation. The space will be divided into an exhibition area and demonstration rows for machines, equipment, components and accessory products that introduce automatisms in winemaking practices. The collaboration with FederBio Servizi also continues, involving the creation of an organic demonstration vineyard. Here, exhibiting companies will be able to demonstrate the different cultivation techniques and operations for managing an organic vineyard.
