【DE】61. Trip of the interboot leaves in September with a new captain

Friedrichshafen – The Interboot runs from 17th to 25th September 2022 under new leadership: Felix Klarmann takes over the project management of the international water sports exhibition on Lake Constance from Dirk Kreidenweiß, who left Messe Friedrichshafen at his own request at the end of June. “With Felix Klarmann, we were able to win a motivated colleague for Interboot, who has the best conditions for his new task,” explains trade fair manager Klaus Wellmann and adds: “Dirk Kreidenweiß has shaped Interboot for many years and made it what it is today. We thank him for his extraordinary commitment and wish him all the best for the future.”

Felix Klarmann joined the Interboot team at the beginning of May 2022 and started his new position as project manager in July: “I am looking forward to the challenge of maintaining and continuing the successful course of Interboot. Succeeding Dirk Kreidenweiß is a responsible task that I look forward to highly motivated.” For the native Ravensburger, the Interboot has been a strong term for many years, now he takes the wheel into his own hands. Previously, the 39-year-old was responsible as club manager for the fortunes of the internationally active Frankfurt Golf Club, including event management and sponsor acquisition. “At my previous professional stations, I was at home in a profession that certainly has certain parallelities to water sports and especially its target groups,” Klarmann is convinced. In his new position as project manager, he is accompanied and supported by a trade fair team experienced by all departments. “Together we will realize an interboot with a lot of joie de vivre and charm in September, which I am very much looking forward to,” emphasizes Felix Klarmann.

He can build on his task on the work of his predecessor. Dirk Kreidenweiß has shaped the Interboot for 22 years. As an active member of the water sports industry, such as vice president of the World Boat Fairs Association (IFBSO), together with his team and partners in the industry, he developed numerous ideas and concepts that were successfully implemented at Interboot and continue to be the hallmark of the international water sports exhibition. These include the test harbor concept, motorboat training for women and the “standing wave” – an indoor test pool for surf fans. The focus of his work was on innovative paths to constantly reposition water sports by trade fair or to make it emotionally tangible. Interboot will continue to hold and expand this course in the future.

The 61st promises water sports experiences. Interboot from 17th to 25th September 2022. Further information can be found on the Internet at WWW.INTERBOOT.DE, WWW.FACEBOOK.DE/INTERBOOT, WWW.INSTAGRAM.COM/INTERBOOT.FRIEDRICHSHAFEN and #interboot.
