Personal encounters and networking, finding solutions and trying out products, further training and the discussion of current industry topics were in the foreground at the trade fair association HOLZ-HANDWERK and FENSTERBAU FRONTALE: The trade fair duo returned with a “Summer Edition”, in which 708 exhibitors from 33 countries participated. Over four days, around 28,500 trade visitors from over 100 countries informed themselves about the latest trends in woodworking and processing as well as in window, door and facade construction. The exhibition in thirteen halls was supplemented by an extensive specialist program with topic-specific special shows, lecture forums and other program elements.

Specialist program live and on demand
In addition to the participants on site, interested parties who could not come to Nuremberg also had the opportunity to participate digitally in the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE FORUM in the livestream. The program as well as the guided tours and the forum “Design digitization practically in the craft” were recorded. The contributions and presentations remain available at www.live.frontale.de.
Personal encounters, good conversations and live demos
“The anticipation of the personal reunion was great in advance, and this also reflected the mood in the halls,” reports Stefan Dittrich, Head of WOOD CRAFTS. “Finally fair again!” was often heard. Discover, experience, make remains even for the 20th. Anniversary edition of HOLZ-HANDWERK the apt description for a trade fair with a hands-on and experience character, which can only be experienced live and on site.” The exhibitors praised in particular the quality of the discussions as well as the high decision-making competence and the concrete procurement intentions of the visitors. The participants used the time for intensive consultation and the discussion of concrete ideas and projects. “We are pleased about the great popularity and trust in the Messe format,” Stefan Dittrich continues.
Elke Harreiß, Head of FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, adds: “Every industry needs its meeting place. Industry participants will find a large number of international decision-makers, high new customer potential, the comparison with the competition and the opportunity to join forces with comrades-in-arms at trade fairs. Digitization, sustainability, shortage of skilled workers, shortages of materials and rising energy prices are among the current topics that have shaped the discussions in the halls and lecture forums. With FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, we will once again offer our customers the platform to discuss the pressing questions that concern the industries in 2024.
