Sustainability, additive and digital manufacturing, new mobility, future developments in building and construction: ALUMINIUM will not only provide numerous answers to the pressing questions of our time on the exhibitor side. It will also offer an extensive, highly exciting content program on the three days of the trade fair.
A highlight of ALUMINIUM 2022 is the ALUMINIUM Conference organized by Aluminium Deutschland, which will be an integral part of the trade fair from this year. Under the title “Aluminium – the solution provider”, the conference will focus on the central themes of the trade fair: What opportunities does aluminium offer in terms of recycling and the circular economy? What opportunities are arising for the material in connection with new mobility? What developments are we facing in additive and digital manufacturing? What role will aluminium play as a material for the smart and environmentally friendly cities of the future?
The ALUMINIUM Conference will continue the approaches of the extremely successful ALUMINIUM Business Summit and will bring experts, key players and, above all, customers of the aluminum industry onto the stage in Hall 3 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center to discuss these focus topics.
A stage for sustainability and recycling
Much has been said about the outstanding properties of aluminum with regard to Circular Economy – but by no means everything. As part of the “Innovation Plaza Sustainability and Recycling”, ALUMINIUM will feature a themed stage where, for three days, some of the best experts on the subject will share their knowledge with visitors of the show.
Our exclusive partner is the CRU Group. The London-based business intelligence company provides, among other things, the most in-depth analysis in the field of aluminium. The partnership is the result of a long-standing relationship and offers indescribable added value to participants of the world’s leading trade fair. CRU Group experts will play a key role in shaping the program of the “Sustainability Plaza” in Hall 6.
Two partners for additive and digital manufacturing
What opportunities do additive and digital manufacturing offer? Which new technologies are in the starting blocks, and which are already appearing on the horizon? Organizer RX was able to win over two outstanding know-how carriers for the Speakers Corner of the “Innovation Plaza Additive & Digital Manufacturing” in Hall 5:
On the one hand, the Aachen Center for Additive Manufacturing (ACAM) on the campus of RWTH Aachen University. ACAM is one of the most important research and development centers for additive manufacturing and will contribute its extensive knowledge to ALUMINIUM 2022.
The second prominent partner is Quartz Business Media. The British trade media house, which publishes, among other things, “Aluminium International Today”, has already maintained a close and friendly relationship with ALUMINIUM for years – now it has become a real partnership!
