【DE】IFA 2022: More than 80 percent of the Berlin exhibition center is already occupied

Numerous well-known brands in the consumer and home electronics industry will present at IFA 2022 from the 2nd to the 6th. September innovations and novelties in the halls of the Berlin exhibition center.

 

With more than 30 exhibition halls and several special areas, IFA 2022 fills the traditional exhibition center in the center of Berlin. It becomes clear that IFA will meet its claim to be the world’s most important trade fair for consumer and home electronics again this September. Brand manufacturers from all over the world and all areas of the industry have now confirmed their participation bindingly.

 

“With this diversity and the mapping of the entire market, we create an important prerequisite for the trade fair success of our exhibitors and visitors,” says Kai Mangelberger, Director IFA 2022. The fact that companies are returning to the extent that they were before the pandemic, such as Samsung in the CityCube Berlin, Panasonic in Hub 27 or LG in Hall 18 as well as the almost fully booked areas in the household appliances sector with companies such as Bosch, Haier, Miele or Siemens in the south terrain, shows that expectations for IFA 2022 are high.

 

With the new IFA Virtual, Messe Berlin will launch a new B2B platform in July to prepare for the trade fair visit, networking and information. This will then also include a complete exhibitor list and product highlights.

 

“We are positively surprised how many short-term registrations we are currently receiving. In order to accommodate all exhibitors and to make the halls appealing to visitors, we are working on the exhibitor lists and hall plans until the end,” says Mangelberger.

 

Additional offers such as SHIFT Mobility and IFA Global Markets fill other halls of the site.

 

The presence of the industry at IFA 2022 is high and we are pleased to welcome the specialist trade cooperations represented in the past again with independent appearances in Berlin.

IFA Home & Entertainment

The Home & Entertainment exhibition area has defined the IFA since its beginnings in 1924. The product range includes the latest developments in TV sets and home entertainment as well as a variety of products and services that accompany the consumer in his daily life. As a unique platform for inspiration and innovation, IFA Audio presents forward-looking concepts and solutions, the latest products and theme highlights such as noise cancelling & true wireless headphones, audio streaming, immersive or spatial audio, smart speakers and sound systems. From well-known brands to innovative newcomers, exhibitors from all over the world present inspiring products and trends. These include brands such as Audio-Technica, Block, Jabra, JVCKENWOOD, TEAC and many others.

 

IFA Household Appliances

Household appliances improve lifestyle and promote sustainable growth with innovative and resource-saving functions. Since 2008, IFA in Berlin has been the ultimate platform for the household appliance industry. It covers all areas of large and small household appliances incl. Built-in kitchen appliances. Products from the areas of personal care and wellness are presented here as well as solutions on the subject of heating and indoor climate. IFA Computing and Gaming

IFA MyMedia has been renamed IFA Computing & Gaming to meet developments and latest trends in this relevant market. In addition to computers, games and immersive entertainment, topics such as data storage technologies, cloud solutions and cybersecurity also play a role. This year, Asus, AVM, Hama, MSI and TP-Link, among others, will present their products and the latest developments.

 

IFA Imaging
