A visit to Hall 3 of the CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf is therefore always a trip to attractive holiday worlds. He takes caravanning fans to numerous holiday destinations and makes them dream of the next tour.
People want to get to know new destinations again and the combination of mobile travel and regions that offer outdoor activities is very popular. Whether hiking, cycling or boat trips by canoe and kayak, nature attracts and attracts more and more people outside. This form of holiday is particularly in demand, as it can be planned individually, but can also be undertaken spontaneously. And I am very pleased that the tourism sector is again represented at the CARAVAN SALON with such a large offer, explains Project Director Stefan Koschke.
Many destinations are using the fair this year to present themselves directly to their fans. For example, Australia will be there for the first time in 2022, which has said goodbye to its strict entry requirements after the long pandemic break. In Düsseldorf, “Down Under” shows fans all its beauty from Sydney to Perth, Cairns to Adelaide, the Outback or the Great Barrier Reef.
The state of North Rhine-Westphalia is also represented with a large joint stand of its tourist regions. According to the WDR 2 motto “Out into the West”, natural destinations between Weser and Rhine are presented here. And there are certainly many insider tips that NRW tourists can still reveal to their visitors.
The Croatian National Tourist Board is also represented with its own stand and shows the varied destinations of the Southeast European country. With over 1,000 islands and charming mountain regions, the southeastern European country is a flagship region for the successful combination of hiking and water sports holidays.
With Cyprus, another Mediterranean beauty makes its way into Hall 3. Hiking and swimming, combined during a holiday, is the program here. The third largest island in the Mediterranean has a mild climate and Mediterranean flair all year round. Both holidays on their long secluded beaches and hikes through the dense forests of the Troodos Mountains are very popular here.
With tours between the Baltic Sea, Masurian Lake District or the Tatra Mountains, Poland offers itself as an attractive destination for both outdoor fans and passionate water sports enthusiasts. Our eastern neighboring country with its attractions and tourist diversity is a top address in Hall 3 and also for the first time at the start.
Greece, Slovenia and Denmark are also present with their own presentations and present dream regions for the active holiday, which can be booked directly on site in Hall 3.
The platform www.roadsurfer.de also offers cool and unusual camping spots throughout Europe in Hall 3. Whether at the fruit farmer in the tranquil Lüdersfeld in the district of Schaumburg, in the middle of an imposing castle complex in Saint-Projet, Occitan or on a lonely organic farm in El Perelló, Catalan, individual travelers will find tailor-made and very special hotspots here.
In addition to the international destinations, providers such as the Internet platform www.landvergnügen.de show that relaxing and enjoying can also be great fun right on the doorstep. Over 1,300 idyllic destinations for motorhomes, caravans or campers with rural hosts attract for a short break on a farm or in the vineyards.
Europe’s most beautiful holiday routes and itineraries for all fans of mobile leisure are bundled by the website www.ferienstraßen.info, which is also included in Hall 3 with an information stand.
On the event stage Travel & Nature CONNECTED around caravanning tourism, outdoor activities and nature experience, exhibitors and travel experts will create a colorful program. Here, visitors can find out about innovations in equipment, sports and destinations on site. The dream tour presentations, which are integrated into the program of the stage in Hall 3, offer an exciting and adventurous program. Topics include The Panamericana stage from Costa Rica to Mexico, tour by motorhome from the Loire to the Atlantic, Dream destination incense road or North Cape – by motorhome to the land of the fjords. For interested parties who have not made it to Hall 3 to one of the program items, the stream under the motto “Travel & Nature CONNECTED” delivers all presentations live from the stage on www.caravansalon.de and the social media channels of the fair.
The interest of manufacturers, dealers and destinations in a presentation in Hall 3 is very high. This clearly shows that it is important for exhibitors to present themselves personally to their audience again. Accordingly, fans can also expect a diverse and colorful program on stage. I cordially invite all caravanning friends of outdoor fans to visit, as they can obtain comprehensive information and also shop here,” summarizes Stefan Koschke.
