In preparation for next year’s event, electromagnetic compatibility experts are invited to help shape the workshop program for the EMV 2023, which will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, from 28 to 30 March 2023.
Representatives from industry and science can now submit their workshop proposals to bring their expertise to a highly qualified and interested audience at Europe’s most important electromagnetic compatibility event. Abstract submissions are open until 12 September 2022.
Proposals for contributions with application-related topics from all areas of EMC, but also fundamentals aimed at newcomers and career changers, will be gladly accepted.
Topics of the EMV 2023
For the EMV 2023, the committee has identified the following topic areas for which proposals may be submitted:
- Topic A: EMC basics, EMC-compatible design, interference protection measures for system and component
- Topic B: EMC and safety, standards, regulations, insurance and liability issues, licensing, accreditation and certification
- Topic C: EMC measurement methods, validation and simulation
- Topic D: EMC aspects in special technical and technological fields
The committee is particularly interested in contributions on radio, simulation and EMCF.
The topic of radio as a practice-oriented workshop, which serves as basic advice and establishes the reference to RF fundamentals is particularly relevant.
Virtual validation via simulation is now part of the industrial development process and it is necessary to accompany it. For this reason, workshops focusing on several tools are of interest as well.
In the field of renewable energy, charging stations and personal protection, EMFC is a current and important topic. The focus should be on low frequencies.
Review by an expert panel
The submitted entries will be reviewed by the committee headed by Detlef Hoffmann (Webasto Roof & Components SE). In October 2022, a selection will be made from the submissions and a comprehensive workshop program will be assembled.
