15 years of Neue Messe Stuttgart on the Fildern / Employees share their personal stories


Gathering people from all over the world and from a wide range of industries in one place creates special memories and experiences that you won’t forget so quickly. “We bring people together” is therefore the motto that drives many employees of Messe Stuttgart in their daily work and leads to numerous wonderful stories.

2022 is now the 15th anniversary. It’s time that Messe Stuttgart has moved from Killesberg to Fildern. The anniversary is the right occasion to bring unique memories from the workforce to the fore. That’s why Messe Stuttgart has launched the interactive campaign #MeinMesseMoment. With diary entries, employees report on exciting and emotional stories that they have experienced in their professional life at the fair.


#MyMesseMoment tells of unique moments from the workforce

“At Messe Stuttgart, there are always unforgettable experiences for our colleagues,” says Stefanie Kromer, Director of Communications and Company Spokeswoman. “In the past two years, our halls have often remained closed due to the pandemic. It is now all the more beautiful to recall what wonderful moments we have already experienced here on the Fildern in recent years before the pandemic and are now allowed to experience again.” Messe Stuttgart plans to hold more than 30 events by the end of the year.


#MeinMesseMoment is an action that was initially only rolled out within the company among colleagues and comprises a total of around 20 stories. Whether betting that..?” with Thomas Gottschalk, the genesis of Comic Con in Stuttgart, or a joint music appearance at the exhibitor evening – a selection is available on Messe Stuttgart website and will also be placed on the company’s social media channels. “We do not want to hold back these many experiences, but share them with our companions,” says Stefanie Kromer.


Start of the anniversary campaign 15 years Neue Messe Stuttgart

#MeinMesseMoment is also the start of the anniversary campaign, which runs under the motto 15 years of Neue Messe Stuttgart. For this purpose, Messe Stuttgart has set up a separate area on its company website, which is dedicated to the past 15 years with various actions. Part of this are also the stories about #MeinMesseMoment. Messe Stuttgart is planning further communication measures for autumn and winter, which will be gradually being rolled out.
