Automechanika Frankfurt launches a new event on the morning of the first day of the fair to promote the networking and exchange of the international key players in the industry among themselves. At the first Automechanika CEO Breakfast, racing professionals Mika Häkkinen and Mark Gallagher give impulses on the subject of technological innovations and their adaptation to them. The event is supported by ZF Aftermarket, which provides technology and premises. Leading international key players from the automotive industry have already reserved tables to invite their top customers.
The start of this year’s Automechanika Frankfurt from the 13th to the 17th September, the CEO will make breakfast on the first day of the fair with Formula 1 greats Mika Häkkinen and Mark Gallagher. In Key Notes, the two racing professionals talk about the right mindset to adapt to rapidly changing technological conditions, lean, agile leadership and the necessary team spirit to act successfully together and achieve goals under high pressure. There are certainly similarities with the automotive industry and the challenges of digitization and diversification in the aftermarket; because the companies in the automotive industry have to adapt to a similarly rapid pace, fast responsiveness and agile working.
“With the new format of the CEO Breakfast, we consciously rely on exchange and inspiration. With the two guests from Formula 1, we want to contribute to giving the industry new impetus,” explains Detlef Braun, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt.
Philippe Colpron, head of ZF Aftermarket, is happy to support the new format as a kick-off to the fair: “It is up to us to take advantage of the opportunities that lie in the future challenges of our industry by working together on the further service-oriented orientation of the mobility ecosystem.”
The new meeting format is primarily aimed at exhibiting companies as well as decision-makers, wholesalers, management consultancies and associations from the automotive aftermarket who can invite their customers to this exclusive event. Tables can be booked in five different price categories. Some major players such as Mahle, Continental, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, LKQ Europe and DEKRA have already confirmed their participation.
