Early Bird tickets for decarbXpo now available
The free forum of decarbXpo presents from the 20th to the 22nd September 2022 a unique mix of lectures on industrial and commercial decarbonization as well as storage systems. The range of topics ranges from renewable process heat to industrial hydrogen use and energy management to net zero factories. Discounted early bird tickets for the fair are now available at
Industrial heat and steam as focal topics
In energy-intensive industries, there is enormous decarbonization potential in heat production. The decarbXpo forum therefore deals specifically with this topic: EnergyNest reports on green 24/7 steam generation in a fertilizer factory, DLR on the coupled supply of renewable electricity and heat through power-to-heat systems. This also includes high-temperature heat accumulators, which the exhibitor Kraftblock presents.
Energy management and storage for climate-neutral production
The monitoring and control of energy systems addresses another group of lectures. The SMS group presents forward-looking energy management systems to reduce the carbon footprint, Phoenix Contact the way to a net zero factory through monitoring and modular automation.
A bridge from smart energy management to battery storage is built by Fenecon’s lecture, which highlights reverse peak shaving and the second-life use of e-mobility batteries, among other things.
Circular economy as a system approach to decarbonization strategies
Decarbonization requires more than energy efficiency and climate-neutral energy supply, the use of resources must also be minimized. Lectures by the SMS group and Jenabatteries deal with the circular economy as a solution – the company offers metal-free and resource-saving flow batteries especially for major industrial customers.
Hydrogen from electrolysis to transport
Industrial hydrogen use is a focus topic of decarbXpo and will be discussed, among other things, in the parallel P2X conference of the VDMA and in the ecoMetals Day for the metal industry. In the forum, the Fraunhofer Institutes UMSICHT and IMM will talk about CO2 electrolysis and hydrogen transport media such as methanol, ammonia and synthetic fuels.
This year, the decarbXpo Forum offers a unique cross-section of central topics of industrial decarbonization: heat, energy management, circular economy and hydrogen are of central importance for all our target industries. Visitors get compact and top-class insights into technologies and solutions,” says Bernd Jablonowski, Executive Director, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.
