IMPACT FRIENDS promotes more sustainability in companies

The specialist congress “IMPACT FRIENDS” organized by Wirtschaftsförderung Dortmund, Good Profits GmbH and Messe Dortmund on event Friday offers founders, those interested in starting a business and all those interested in social start-ups, social entrepreneurship or sustainable innovations a platform for an exciting exchange of experience and knowledge on an equal footing. Investors will find start-ups, companies the right service providers for them, those interested in starting a business know-how they lack and welfare associations get to know social start-ups that have already developed solutions to their challenges. An innovative mix of classic and modern discussion, lecture, workshop, discussion and consulting formats enables all participants to have an intensive exchange and comprehensive insight into the matter within one day.

This year, everything is under the motto “Transformation Trend Sustainability”. Daniela Mahr, founder of reflecta.network, kicks off with the appropriate lecture “Transformation Trend Sustainability” or why “sustainable & social” is the new “digital”. And in the workshops, trade visitors learn what this means in practice when experts talk, for example, about topics such as the importance of strong networks, authentic and credible communication and professional storytelling, exchange ideas about how climate change creates new professions, markets and challenges for companies, municipalities and regions, but also discuss financing options for impact start-ups. In addition, there are offers for exchange, reflection and inspiration throughout the event area: In the ‘consulting quarter’, counseling seekers meet experts from the fields of law & taxes, financing and marketing for individual and tailor-made individual consultations throughout the day. In the ‘Room of Error Culture’, a specially designed installation invites you to simply leave your own stories of horror there. The idea behind it: What was or is a mistake for some is an experience for others that can be taken directly with you. And the “room for manoeuvre” serves to reflect on one’s own leadership and leadership responsibility together with an expert. New this year: the pop-up institute “Telling about the future”, which resulted from the first narrative research at last year’s IMPACT FRIENDS. An exciting exchange about the common future, opportunities and concrete ideas for action.
