Europe’s largest trade fair for the vegan lifestyle, VeggieWorld, will also take place in Karlsruhe in the future, as Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress GmbH and Messe Dortmund GmbH recently agreed. A cooperation of this kind is a first for both partners and seals the longer-term cooperation in a rapidly growing segment. By bundling the competencies and market knowledge of the two exhibition venues, the further development of VeggieWorld will be sustainably promoted.
It was only in November 2020 that Messe Dortmund GmbH took over the trademark and license rights of VeggieWorld. From the move to Karlsruhe, Messe Dortmund expects a further development of the national reach of the popular information and sales platform for the vegan lifestyle, which will then take place at a total of six locations in Germany.

Thematically in Karlsruhe just right
The thematic orientation of VeggieWorld, which was launched for the first time from the 25th to the 26th. February 2023 in the Gartenhalle in the heart of Karlsruhe and returns annually, rounds off the offer of visitor fairs in Karlsruhe excellently and optimally underlines the brand core of Karlsruhe as a city for smart and sustainable developments. Britta Wirtz, Managing Director of Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress GmbH, is very impressed by the newly agreed cooperation and the associated expansion of the portfolio: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming VeggieWorld to the innovative climate of Karlsruhe. VeggieWorld is the world’s largest consumer fair for the vegan lifestyle and presents a colorful mix of food (milk and meat alternatives, superfoods, sweets and drinks), clothing and accessories, cosmetics, vegan services, initiatives, projects and non-profit associations. Companies with products related to a vegan lifestyle present their offer at the fair.
