By 2027, the turnover of the organic food and cosmetics sectors could double from €13 billion to €26 billion, according to one of the scenarios revealed by the recent prospective study conducted by Credoc and AND International for “NATEXBIO – La Maison de la Bio”, owner of the NATEXPO.

Although the organic food market is now experiencing a slight decline after the exceptional period of 2020, it nevertheless recorded an increase in home consumption of +11.4% compared to the pre-covid year of 20191. Consumers therefore confirm their enthusiasm for organic products, however their expectations tend to evolve, especially towards more local, anti-waste, ethical products.

 

In this moving context, conducive to innovations, 1,800 exhibitors and brands, actors in French and international organic, meet at NATEXPO Lyon 2022. At the heart of the market dynamics, this new edition is even for the first time in its Lyon version organized over 3 full days, from Sunday 18 to Tuesday 20 September! The exceptional opportunity to access, in one place, all the news of bio at 360° and the vitality that drives professionals in the sector, at the forefront of new consumer trends. NATEXPO Lyon 2022: many novelties to support companies in a changing context

In direct contact with market developments, the show inaugurates many new products this year. The show launches two new thematic paths to guide the steps of professionals in the show: “Local”, to target companies with proximity commitments, and “Épure”, highlighting the players in high-end organic cosmetics. In addition, in partnership with Ingrébio, NATEXPO designed an Organic Ingredients Discovery Circuit, to meet key exhibitors in the sector for 1 hour. Five circuits are planned, to discover innovative ingredients for cosmetics, food supplements, in the world of plants, local or even “more than organic”. NATEXPO Lyon also offers a new center dedicated to e-commerce, an option that has become essential since the health crisis.

Among the many innovations of the companies presented at the show, visitors will discover in particular the winners of the NATEXPO 2022 Trophies, which reward the most innovative, original and useful products put on the market during the year.
