Participate, try out and discover new talents: Jobs for Future is a trade fair with action! At many stands of the approximately 300 exhibitors, visitors can solve small job-specific tasks and test up close whether they like the profession – and above all would enjoy it. There is also a lot to discover in the information forums: In free short lectures, the professionals give valuable tips and insider information on topics such as career orientation, career opportunities or new, exciting job profiles. The fair for jobs, training and further education, studies in the Maimarkthalle Mannheim is open every three days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

 

Participate and discover talents!

 

At the Mannheim-Neckarstadt tax office, interested parties can use VR glasses to take a look in advance at what prospective trainees can expect on the first day of training. The professionals show how to measure blood sugar or blood pressure properly at the stand of St. Josefs Hospital Heidelberg. At the Karlsruhe Municipal Hospital, visitors can view medical preparations under the microscope. Vision tests at zero cost and instructions for professional eyewear cleaning are available at the Fielmann AG stand. The mini construction site of the Handwerks with its numerous guilds impressively shows how the different trades interact – participate and try it out! Where are my talents? Königswege GmbH offers a potential analysis directly at the booth. At AUBI-Plus, you can have your application folder checked for completeness and meaningfulness.

 

Outside in front of the hall, the information truck from SÜDWESTMETALL attracts with numerous experimental stations: Interested parties can, for example, participate in virtual automobile production or experience how a computer-controlled CNC milling machine is programmed. Unique insights behind the scenes can be found on the “Waste Collection Vehicle Action Area” of REMONDIS.

 

Tips from the professionals in the info forums

 

What is behind the Master’s degree “Information Management”? How can you study part-time even without a high school diploma? And what career opportunities does modern craftsmanship offer? In the free workshops and short lectures in the information forums, professionals and trainees present exciting professional fields or give valuable tips, for example on the subject of application or how to get fit for the labor market again after a break. A great opportunity to explore strengths and weaknesses, ask questions, receive feedback and educate yourself in a safe environment!
