The premiere of the Expo for Decarbonized Industries (decarbXpo) will be shown from the 20th to the 22nd. September a unique range of climate protection technologies for industry and commerce. Established companies and innovative start-ups present their solutions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions at the exhibition center in Düsseldorf. Three specialist conferences on hydrogen, energy storage and climate-friendly metals as well as two specialist forums offer a top-class supporting program. Mona Neubaur, Minister of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, is the patron of the event.
Wide range of technologies and services
In order to advance climate protection in industry and commerce, decarbXpo is taking a new path: We do not focus on a single industry, but show an enormous range of solutions for companies from a wide variety of sectors. Decision-makers will find the right impulses and solutions for reducing energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions from their production and commercial locations, says Malte Seifert, Director of decarbXpo at Messe Düsseldorf.
The topics covered at the fair and in the forums include energy storage, industrial heat, energy management, hydrogen, analysis and evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions, carbon capture, circular economy and many more.
In addition to established technology providers and service providers from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and the energy industry, more than 20 international start-ups present their solutions at the fair and in the two forums in Hall 9.
Visitors to decarbXpo and the parallel leading trade fair glasstec can visit the two trade fairs free of charge. Tickets for decarbXpo are available at www.decarbXpo.de.
Research and development meets practice in the conference program
The three specialist conferences taking place in parallel with decarbXpo go into technical detail on the core topics of energy storage, hydrogen and “green” metals.
The international IRES conference of EUROSOLAR has had a clear focus for 15 years now: research and development around the storage of renewable energies. In over 150 lectures, experts from science, practice, politics and society deal with the current state of knowledge on energy storage. Selected keynotes also deal with legal framework conditions, markets and financial aspects. The three-day conference starts on September 20th in Forum 1 of Hall 9. On the following days it will take place in Hall 8b. Tickets and the conference program can be viewed at: https://www.eurosolar.de/ires-2/ires-konferenz-2022/
ecoMetals Day, on September 21st (CCD East), is the international conference on the green transformation of the steel and metal industry. More than 25 green-steel, green energy and circular economy pioneers from companies, associations, science and politics present top-class lectures and panel discussions. They clarify why the decarbonization of the steel and ironworks industry is a joint task that can only be solved in close cooperation with the energy and digital economy. The conference program and tickets are available at: https://stahl-punkt.de/veranstaltungen/neu-ecometals-day-2022/
The #P2X Conference of the VDMA Power-to-X for Applications, on September 19th and 20th (CCD East), deals with topics such as hydrogen electrolysis, syntheses for eFuels and power-to-liquid products such as ammonia and methanol. In addition, the application in heavy-duty transport, ship and aviation or in the process industries steel & chemical as well as safety-related issues and the technical economic evaluation of entire supply chains and their business cases are dealt with in a national and international context. The industrial and practical relevance is important in each case, concrete projects are a central focus.
