The Argentine province of La Rioja will be present at Termatalia, the International Fair of Thermal Tourism, Health and Welfare that is held in Ourense – Galicia – Spain on September 29 and 30. A delegation of institutional representatives of the government of the province will travel here, which will be headed by the Minister of Tourism and Cultures of the province, Gustavo Luna, accompanied, among other authorities, by the Minister of Health, Juan Carlos Vergara.
This presence arises as a result of Termatalia’s participation in the Regional Termalism Meeting held last June in the province and which put La Rioja on the thermal map of Argentina, based on its most developed product, Termas de Santa Teresita in the department of Arauco, and the potential it has throughout its territory. The Minister of Tourism and Cultures, Gustavo Luna, stressed the importance of this tourism matrix that not only generates greater visitation but also the creation of genuine and sustainable sources of work. “A scientific study certifies that La Rioja has 17 thermal manifestations that allow us to get closer to the challenge of the development of each community. We are laying the seed of this development, which is an alternative for the growth of our province.”
