The countdown to the premiere of therapie DÜSSELDORF is on. On the 16th and 17th September 2022, the new industry meeting for therapists in West Germany will take place for the first time in Düsseldorf. More than 80 exhibitors make innovations tangible on site and provide inspiration for everyday practice. In an extensive congress program, current research results from therapy, medical rehabilitation and prevention are addressed and implemented in a practical way.


therapie DÜSSELDORF opens on the 16th and 17th. September 2022 for the first time. 25 proven experts from therapy and science offer the therapeutic professional groups a large selection of topics for certified further training for two days. At the same time, more than 80 exhibitors present the new products and innovations of the industry in Hall 1 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center. The range of services ranges from devices for therapy, rehabilitation, fitness and training to supplies and consumables for daily work to products and services for practice management and for the furnishing and equipment of practice rooms. With around 30 own lectures and workshops, the exhibitors are also involved in the trade fair program of therapie DÜSSELDORF. Cooperation with REHACARE: Extended exhibition offer


Parallel to therapie DÜSSELDORF, the world’s largest trade fair for rehabilitation and care – REHACARE – takes place. Post-COVID patients in occupational and physiotherapy


Post-COVID syndrome manifests itself in about 15 percent of those who are formerly infected with corona, regardless of the course of the disease. The number of post-COVID patients is also steadily increasing in occupational and physiotherapeutic practices. In addition to breathing difficulties and chronic fatigue, they describe concentration and memory problems, joint pain, muscle weakness and low endurance as well as mental complaints and sleep problems. The congress of therapy DÜSSELDORF addresses what the occupational and physiotherapy of post-COVID sufferers can look like. In the workshops “Post-COVID clients in occupational therapy” and “Physiotherapy for people with post Covid-19 condition”, participants learn how to support those affected in regaining more independence and quality of life as quickly as possible.


Thinking about tomorrow today: Offers for the next generation of therapeutics


Both the Association for Physiotherapy (VPT) e.V. and the Federal Association of Independent Physiotherapists, IFK e.V. will inform about the start of professional life, the diverse and multifaceted career opportunities and the way to their own practice on the 16th. September on therapy DÜSSELDORF.


In the four lectures “My first employment contract”, “Therapy with professional athletes”, “The dream of own practice” and “My first salary”, the VPT gives prospective therapists valuable tips for starting their careers. In order to prepare pupils and students for what they can expect in the future when starting a practice, the IFK has been holding the business plan competition annually since 2020. The two best business plans for a fictitious start-up project will be published on the 16th. September in the lecture forum of therapie DÜSSELDORF. The winners will receive prize money of 5,000 and 2,500 euros each. The award ceremony is accompanied by exciting short lectures. These are aimed at start-ups and practice owners, among other things, with topics such as the path to self-employment or the business aspects of a handover, takeover and expansion of practice.


In addition to the VPT and the IFK, PHYSIO DEUTSCHLAND is also involved in the trade fair program of therapie DÜSSELDORF with current professional policy topics.
